in 2005 there were 1884 West pilots.  Today that number is around +/- 1500.
 
So, the West had on average an attrition rate of approx 63 pilots per post age 65 year.
 
Unfortunately for the West, a scab union was formed at LCC that stole all our attrition by undercutting our wages and benefits and stealing the growth opportunities at LCC.

You have less pilots today cause your hubs are flubs, you closed Vegas, With the east attrition 4 times that number with twice as many pilots it is easy to see why you want to be senior to someone hired 15 years before you, Enjoy your stagnation, No NIC for you!
 
The sooner you scabs forget about the NIC and pay off the millions you owe Marty the better off you'll be..........get it no NIC.



The BOA is well aware how incompetent the NIC was done and will not make that mistake...........just going to be "epic"........ Just a few more years in the fishbowl.

As an east 320 captain you would have to ditch an airplane and get a book deal to out earn the first West pilot 100 numbers junior to you on the Nic.
 
For the decade of LCC's existence, I made $250,000 more than an east 320 captain, and I did it with an extra 170 days of vacation!!
 
Did I mention cancel pay, short term disability, better health benefits, better trip rigs, better scheduling rules, better...etc.etc.etc?

Actually, LCC closed LAS as they did LGA, BOS.
 
Now here is a true math problem for you.  
 
Q....If you had 4 times the attrition and twice the number of pilots, what would your relative attrition rate be combined vs. separate? (Nic took this into account.)
 
A....combined your attrition rate increases if you are junior, like Mutatis. Luv9, and Claxhole, and separate the east would have had 100% attrition and been greeting Wal-Mart visitors.

I have a friend from my previous job who turned down a job at Piedmont and went to America West a month after I got hired.
 
He's in the top 150 of their seniority list and been a Check Airman for 20 years.
 
Carry on making a fool of yourself.
