I'm going to set up a Twitter account so you, luv, claxon, and EastUS can talk about what I had for lunch.

Funny, we might set one up as to why you're afraid to upgrade..........your pappy must be very disappointed he raised an honorary scab.

No, s/he would not have stagnated.

Lets say you were....oh, lets pick a uscaba supporter with notoriety...lets say you were Sully.

You were a senior 320 captain Pre-Nic,  then Post-Nic you are a senior 320 captain with ZERO West pilots senior to you...you just lost $450k to uscaba!

Lets take a less senior 320 captain...say a guy who was 1000 out of the 2800 active east pilots.  Pre-Nic he was 1000....Post-Nic he IS 1150 out of 5400 in a fleet that almost doubled in number of hulls.  Holy crap the injustice!!!!...no stagnation, a huge gain of relative position...but alas, a loss of $450k to uscaba!!!!

Face it, over half the east pilots took HUGE finacial losses by forming uscaba, the rest took Large financial losses.

Even the most junior active east pilot took a large financial loss.  Monda, the most junior active east pilot would have still upgraded, just at a later time, approx 2 years.  However, during those two years he would have made much more as an f/o, then when he upgraded he would have made considerably more.

PS. I did not flunk math.....your unfounded emotional bias against the NIc has clouded all your mathematical insight.
What if scenarios are fun. There is so much more to it than you realize.

LMAO at you clowns.  I am talking 2005-2015 and you are still regurgitating 1986.

As an east 320 captain you would have to ditch an airplane and get a book deal to out earn the first West pilot 100 numbers junior to you on the Nic.

For the decade of LCC's existence, I made $250,000 more than an east 320 captain, and I did it with an extra 170 days of vacation!!

Did I mention cancel pay, short term disability, better health benefits, better trip rigs, better scheduling rules, better...etc.etc.etc?
"Junior to you on the NIC" well junior that would not take much considering a never furloughed pilot was put 15 years behind your west new hires! My guess is you can't hold a 330 Capt on the NIC today!

And yet you've somehow managed to have the fact that it's now 2016 entirely escape you, necessarily noting that the nic "award" dates back to 2007? ....?

"you are still regurgitating 1986"...? We could always use more hearty laughs here, so why don't "you'se" go ahead and tell us all just exactly what YOU were doing in 1986, purely for better reference and mutual understanding of course?

Well, we do nowadays live in an utterly insane society and era/error, where some kids strangely now feel fully entitled to some "trophy" just for "participating"....

And had you followed him there you would have worked in Australia just like him. You can thank pappy for that huh?
WRONG. While we had several pilots go to Australia, not ALL went. Every pilot group has it's "5%"..even good old US Air. Am i making myself clear as a RAY of sunshine?

The gentleman that Trader speaks of is a great work-mate & check airman. A pleasure to fly with, as I'm sure you are.

Got any more global snotty things to say, Jackass?

Ansett didn't need all of "you'se" to eagerly serve as scabs, or would likely have gotten most all in AWA. They had no trouble filling what spots they wished with "spartans" happy to steal others' jobs though, did they?....So what's your supposed "point"?

"When its fleet was grounded by the strike against all of Australia's domestic airlines, Ansett had trouble finding the aircraft it needed from charter operators and commercial airlines outside Australia. "The fact that we had this connection with America West enabled us to react very quickly," said Ansett spokesman Peter Young. "Early in the crisis, it was quite critical."

"While we had several pilots go to Australia," Oh!...Just "several"? Well heck; I guess that's just fine then, but for some added laughs, please DO define "several" as anything even approaching an actually honest number....?

What an immensely proud moment for the "Integrity Matters" T-shirted crowd this all must be.

Yea, just google master scab list and you can throw your 5% assertions right out the window. There are a huge number of ansett scabs that came from America West, just count them. In fact you guys have the distinction of having the highest number of scabs as a percentage of company size as any in history. Integrity indeed, you like to name call when the truth hurts, huh Einstein.

Where is that pesky BS FLAG emoji??

adjective, huger, hugest.
1.  extraordinarily large in bulk, quantity, or extent:

"...USAPA has spent a huge portion of dues on FRUITLESS litigation."

2.  of unbounded extent, scope, or character; limitless:

"....when we found Bradford's exchange with other attorneys, it was a huge find!"

Look, Iceman.  If "you'se" boys are going to REFUSE to research your statements, this education campaign just for "you'se" is going to take a VERY LONG time.  Lucky for you, I'm a bit like a pit bull.  I'm just not going to let "you'se" forget what a bunch cheats & thieves you are.  Lucky for all of us is that the BOA knows what kind of folks "you'se" boys are as well.

Allow me to do YOUR homework for you:

Let's pretend that AWA had only 1000 pilots back during the Ansett event.  I counted as you asked (Einstein), and there were only 34 AWA pilots.  I'd be willing to admit that 34 is certainly more that what "several" would mean.  There were 2 or 3 listed TWICE (different spellings), thus making the ultimate validity of the list "suspect".  Further, there were MANY names that I did not recognize.  That is not to say that I know every living soul that is and was here, BUT I count myself as reasonably knowledgeable with the AWA group of pilots.

34 pilots of 1000 (I'm quite sure there were more, since we had 1800+ in the mid-2000's) is only 3.4%, SOOOOOOO that is ACTUALLY LESS than the 5% that I mentioned.  The truth (continues) to HURT, huh Einstein?  MORON.
