Yeah, that's the ticket.  The guys had nothing but respect for a guy that milked date of hire from MD80 F/O to the 330 but thought it was fine to trash your F/O's careers based on a United rigged "process" that guaranteed them a career at the bottom.

The remarks we all heard never happened.

"Rigged process", George Nicolau was a senile old man, it was an ALPA conspiracy and the Pilot Neutral's fault........ I thought that was put to rest years ago........talk about milking something for all it's worth....

Sally Field in "Smokey and the Bandit", now there's a movie!

Now you're just making stuff up Luv.
I'm sure most of the pilots I flew with are man or woman enough to tell me they think I'm full of it. Several did, but we always parted with a hand shake and respect for a differing opinion.
Just like your imaginary AA friends, those "guys" don't exist........

To be clear I'm talking about Traitor, I have friends in CLT a that get stuck with him.

"the downside"..? Seriously?  With yet opposable thumbs, a pulse and even toys to play with? Never even been shot at?...Quit your "It's ALL about MEEE!" whiney-arsed/childishly-bitchin', statistcally-insignificant-within-PSA/purely civilan "puke" and just enjoy your life.... I've known too many who'd fully envy us at this point in life, were they still alive to enjoy it.

Sigh!...I knew there was a reason I couldn't ever actually like you.....but I do wish you the best nonetheless.

"He was named America West's chief executive 10 days before the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks shut down the nation's airlines for several days and greatly accelerated a financial crisis in the industry. His airline, running short of cash, had negotiated some crucial loans, but lenders backed out after 9/11. At the same time, ticket sales plunged. With just $85 million on hand, "we were by far in the worst shape," he said."

"America West furloughed 179 pilots due to the downturn in travel demand
that resulted from the September 11 terrorist attacks, while reducing its
flight schedule by approximately 20 percent."

Mitch, you were hired in 2004, two years after every airline suffered from 911.

Mitch Vasin wants to jump 17 years of pilot seniority and rationalizes his greed every day with distorted facts.

Mitch is on the APA web board lately suggesting to legacy AA pilots not to let the company stall the seniority integration, not getting much sympathy.

Mitch, I hope you enjoy the nice ambiance of the PHX base before it closes in a few years, you have no choice not to be stuck in the desert, relax and enjoy it.  Check on the AA TWA arbitration regarding the STL base, consider it a homework assignment with a 3 years heads up.

Well, should "you'se" ever wish to rise above gleefully cackling over people's graves on the internet, and ever personally want to prove your AWA-some skills aloft to the world; my recreational flying wager's been open for over 7 years now.  No "BODY COUNTS" involved, and on a much more sanely and light-hearted basis that'd only cost you a few bucks, but admittedly, perhaps "billions in damages" to your infantile ego.

"DO YOU WANT TO"...? "...Do I feel lucky?...Well, do ya'...punk?" 😉

To any and all west "spartans"...well...Do you feel lucky....punks? I'm light years past bored with "you'se" pathetically chickenshit "internet-tough-guy" ilk. Impress not just me, but the whole world on video with your actual flying "skills"?....No? Then why not?...Not enough "BODY COUNTS" involved for any/all of your "battle"-tested"-"knights"?  Trust me on at least this much, little "spartan soldier" kidddies; "BODY COUNTS" aren't anything to ever help one sleep well at night with.

Metroyet, I can only imagine being essentially a drooling idiot inside a padded cell, but certainly, there must be some actual AWA pilots that would enjoy such a challenge....?

I'm far past bored with all of "you'se" mighty "spartans". Kindly help me out with actually displaying even some/ANY of your "valor" saturated, supposed..umm..."pilot...err... "heroics" here?....?

Mitch makes me want to throw up each and every day. What does he have 5 years at eagle and now 10 years at AWA?.. ...stop being a punk...get in line like the rest of us....

Another over reaction.

You must be very well off financially, not to imagine that having your income cut off for no other reason than you aged another year might require some adjustment.

You know, all the real hero military pilots I flew with at PSA, the MIG Killers, the Blue Angel, the Huey Dustoff pilots, the POW's, never mentioned their exploits or ever challenged anyone to a dogfight.

I am sure he is on the 15th it will be out of his hands and as our boy catpisspilot1 mentioned if the APA takes their DFR responsibility seriously, they will stall the integration because the TWA pilots are not the only group in the que!

Right on, TWA gets a seat, let's tie this baby up for years, good for the APA and the east.
