Yes, I was defending him....

I'm just a lowly BS from Florida State with an ATP and a handful of type ratings that are meaningless.

1) No worries. That's just what you've always done for any westie against your very own former fellows/coworkers. We'd all only be shocked if we ever saw any different behavior coming from you.

2) "I'm just a lowly BS from Florida State.." Points for honesty. You've at least got the "lowly" part right, but the ATP thing was a truly impressive inclusion, and what an amazing feat that was to ever even achieve. I well remember my own experiences there. "Hey GI, you come from Air Force? We give good ATP for only $700 for two whole days. We love you long time!" 😉

I'd think that last consideration is the whole point of his continued postings, if indeed any "point" is to be generously imagined at all.
By this time tomorrow you will see his postings of this nonsense come to a screeching halt.

Hey prechill, can we get a new countdown clock?

Fellow Phoenix Pilots,

We evidently have an answer regarding the recent EAST-Centric bid that denies all the pilots of American Airlines the right participate in positions available after the SFP and SLI.

The ANSWER is NO..

There will be no Rescinding. The Land Grab stands. This is not about just about PHX but AA has their own bids and growth, nothing for PHX for 10 years...

PHX is again the one left out.

Great way of Rewarding Good Behavior, isn't it?

Sincerely and Fraternally,

John

What was it you westies used to tell east pilots; oh yea " going to work for us airways was a bad career choice"
Me thinks you all might want to reconsider the AWA choice you all made.

Should it happen that all "The nic will be crammed down your throats!" notions prove false, I'd imagine his sorry ilk would be left busying themselves hiding from PHX/"spartan" lynch mobs instead of posting.

Is it truly education?

Is that the worthy cause?

Does a college career define the pilot or just those that have one, in other words, those that don't, are they less capable of the job?

The very fact that clueless dip sheeps like yourself can nowadays even term yourself mommy-bought-me-my-license/I-even-passed-my-driving-test "pilots" results solely from an unusually extended period of relative peace and prosperity, fought and paid for by your betters, within which "you'se" kids could feel fully protected, totally safe and even get FAA endorsed "trophies" for just "participating." Most of you would wet your pants if you ever even found yourselves in an unexpectedly inverted aircraft. If the traveling public only knew what often only laughably passes for "pilots" these days, I rather doubt so many would cheerfully board aircraft. Given that you're just some punk wanting magically advanced "seniority", well, you really shouldn't even start on what you could even possibly imagine  "the" (any) "worthy cause" to be....Just sayin'...

P.S. "Bean", not to be confused with Beancounter here; If you find that at all "offensive"...well, you can always retaliate with yet another posting about "virtual dogfights" and how you would be clearly stressed by even the thought of your ever having to "actually have to be in the cockpit", and instead most comfortable having some "remote control" model airplane to offer there, or you can just run off to your nearest "Safe Space" kid. Sigh...and to think that people used to have real reasons for respecting pilots, versus today's increasingly laughable imitations.

"Shirley" you can't be serious, I mean with all those years they spent licking and drooling on the very shoe soles even of their first-name-basis "friend Doug" and even Johnny M's pathetically groveling and directly asking whether/how "he" should "turn in" only laughably supposed "fellow" pilots for the obviously felony offense of taxiing heavy aircraft with BOTH engines running? Are you now trying to tell us that the PHX "spartans" were just simple minded village idiots sucking up to their "friend" and turning on their "fellows" for no sane reason all this time? Say it's not so! 😉

The village idiots observation might be a bit unfair here, since one "spartan" poster of late has surprisingly bragged about actually having an undergrad college degree...although it did seem strange for just that much to be sufficient reason for arrogant assertion, well, unless that individual knew that even such a modest accomplishment was somehow extraordinary within the PHX ranks. I of course mean no disrespect to the average "scholarship" of the "army of leonidas", since it's been proudly observed by no less than the likes of cactusboy that he "studied" at even 3 educational facilities, without of course ever actually graduating from any.

I'm trying to determine why there seems to be a disconnect between worthy in one groups eyes vs another.

Lastly....Sigh...Do "you'se" really want to even go there? Given your reluctance to actually "be in the cockpit" yourself for any personal challenge, do you at least have your "remote control" aircraft ready?

To all mighty "spartans": thanks for the always dependable laughs. 😉

Dear Doug:
I'm writing to express my complete and utter disappointment with
today's announcement that Captain Sullenberger will be appointed to a
management position within the company. In fact, as a result of Capt.
Sullenberger's decision to use his new found fame as a weapon against
1800 former America West pilots in a recent federal court case over
pilot seniority, I find the company's announcement particularly
insulting. Not only does this decision now forever discredit the
company's purported "neutrality" in the pilot seniority issue, but it
also calls in to question the credibility of the entire safety
management team. As I hope you'll agree, it is in everybody's best
interests to keep flight safety an issue that is far removed from
politics.
I can respect that Capt. Sullenberger has his own personal opinions
regarding the seniority situation, however, I believe that his
decision to testify in court raises reasonable question as to his
ability to adequately perform his new duties without bias. Capt.
Sullenberger did not provide any relevant testimony in the case, and
was only called to testify by USAPA in the hopes that his celebrity
status would unfairly influence a jury. Instead of limiting the use
his celebrity status in support of productive goals such as promoting
aviation safety and the image of US Airways, he blatantly abused that
status by unnecessarily inserting himself on the losing side of an
issue that he played no prior role in. I cannot be reasonably assured
that he would not similarly misuse his position in management.
While I'm certain that this letter will fall on deaf ears, I can
assure you that this letter by no means an end to this issue, and that
you will be in need of much more than a well polished statement at a
crew news session to address it.
Sincerely,
/s/
Mitch Vasin
PHX 320 FO
. But it is ok, for a PHX chief pilot to steal my SS# dob and other personal info and give it to the Army of Leadusunhireables! Still got my company supplied life lock!

"We did this to ourselves guys"..........................

None of them get what this little AFO group did to the entire AWA pilot group, BoyCactus and his friends owe a huge apology to their pilot group for misleading them and lies told to them.

Indeed, very sad.

Hey prechill, can we get a new countdown clock?
Someone please reach out to west victims Burkett, Braid, Kothny and Randall Richmond.
What an amazing and self pitying sob story he spun on C& R. Poor Randall, so despondent over his Nic loss that he is going to fly the Navajo Marty Harper bought along with his King Air with all the legal $$$$$ the west threw his way.
What a tragedy

Adios Randall, not a smart decision, but right in line with listening to Simmons and Ferguson. Dave will be along shortly with some more legal opinion......

The East Committee also argues that the Nicolau Award did not create any “enforceable seniority rights.” East Committee Pre-Hearing Statement 49-50. Regardless of whether that is correct as a matter of law, the West Committee has not argued in this proceeding that the Board is legally bound to accept the Nicolau Award, but instead that it should choose the Nicolau
Award because it is the only “fair and equitable” mechanism for integrating the East and West
pilots given the circumstances at hand.

You know I just love the west post hearing brief, "regardless of whether" they were addressing 3 arbs that are attorneys , right?
