Realistically, it was going to get ugly no matter what.

This post is like the equation that doesn't have the plus sign because it's simply understood to be there, a fact, a truth, sad truth that it is.

MDA is not a seperate company, it is part of mainline. It does not have its own operating certificate.

But the mainline employee who want to operate in it, operate at one tenth the wage and bennies...sounds fair to me....

“Ifâ€￾ NO ONE would work there then they would be FORCED to use mainline, but people being hungry stops that from happening. The word “unitedâ€￾ is only a term these days that is never really used. Jerry knows and exploits this fact, and why I left!!

At last; we now retain the right to strike in Chapter 11.

On the other hand, maybe management will come to their senses and make a realistic offer. Ha! That possibility has never occurred to the give away gang in the past.

If Flying the Line 3 ever gets published, these 4 guys (RC4) need to be on the front cover. They define courage.

The RC4 define stupidity and do not represent the views of the MEC Officer, majority of the MEC, and the rank-and-file.

Will one of you gentlemen clarify something for ol' NewHampshire Black Bears ?

I thought the RC4 REPRESENTED 50+ % of (eligible-to-vote) US Air ALPA members ??

Thanx,

NH/BB's

As a history major in college, the give away gang will not be looked upon kindly in the annals of aviation history. The RC4 will be looked upo by history as the ones who stood their ground against a greedy, dishonest and incompetent management culture.

More than willing to join the IAM in the picket line. See you there, friends.

If the company is serious about something other than their predestined, for months, CH. 11 filing, then they will come back tomorrow with a reasonable offer to ALPA that falls withing the original $295MM demand.

IMO, they never were, they won't, and ALPA should be ramping up their strike committe and offering full support to the IAM and making clear in no uncertain terms that they will not cross an IAM picket line.
