Well in all honesty I expected nothing less than what was brought to us, after all you have president management pilot and former ALPA memebers in there. We were screwed from the start. But now comes the hard part how do we doctor this up to make it look great for the pilot group.

What was the big secret "one item" that the company and the union could not agree on? That was supposed to be unveiled at today's meeting. Anybody have the answer?

And the COC is after both attourneys think that what have kicked in. yes negotiate as you go and any problems will be solved at arbitratior Bloch, yea that's worked well in the past.

Hummel was adamant that the MOU be printed on ALPA letterhead (vs. New&Improved USAPA), but DUI was afraid they could be sued in a hybrid DFR. Hummel called uncle and printed it on New&Improved USAPA letterhead, knowing that even John Prater would be able to see the tribute to ALPA in every line.
