AUG/SEPT 2012 US Pilots Labor Discussion

Hummel was adamant that the MOU be printed on ALPA letterhead (vs. New&Improved USAPA), but DUI was afraid they could be sued in a hybrid DFR. Hummel called uncle and printed it on New&Improved USAPA letterhead, knowing that even John Prater would be able to see the tribute to ALPA in every line.
Good one , I needed that laugh.

I agree and I'm guilty of that. I guess I also used to think that those guys with all that union experience must have known more than I did. Not so sure of that anymore. I do tell my reps what I think, but they just ignore me.
Well is it better to ignore the union and let them do what they want or be ignored by the union so they do what they want?

How is usapa better or different than ALPA?

And you "said" you oppose the Nicolau award and you support an organization created to renege on a mutually agreed upon arbitration.

Res can be labeled for something he's said but hasn't actually done, you on the other hand can't be labeled based on what you've said until you actually do it.

What a hypocrite.

FU. I said pay attention. I said I thought Nicolau got it wrong, but I didn't see anyway around it. I voted for ALPA and thought we should use the TA to see what we could do with it. I support USAPA in the same way you say you do, I'm a MIGS. I try to work within, but they don't listen to me any more than they do you.

How profound the thoughts..... This one is too easy. USAPA stuck the Nic where the sun don't shine........ALPA? Guilty accomplice.

So do you agree that we should abide by the Nicolau Award and stop fighting it? If that's your position I'm wrong and apologize.

Or is your position that is unavoidable but USAPA was right to fight it?

A simply admission that you are wrong for accusing Res of being a scab when he hasn't crossed a picket line would suffice.

No way, this deal is about as bad as it gets. COC gone , scope gone, min. flt gone, ASK Paul Diorio about this. No pairity for 3 yrs and a small bounus give me a break. HUMMEL and the compass correction boys have to go now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WE HAVE BEEN SOLD OUT BIG TIME.
Do you have a copy of this devistating document you can share or are we to take you word for it?

Did Hummel negotiate this document? Has Hummel voted to put it out or endorsed this document?

Jump the gun much?

They sure did...right up Bradford's ###....

Read the MOU...seniority by MB.

MB says any interested party has the right to address the arbitrator. Know of any legally certified class within the LCC pilot group that could be considered an interested party?

Newflash for all usapa idiots willing to pay a minutes attention. Any seniority list other than the Nic passed by usapa in any seniority integration between LCC and another company would immediately make a ripe DFR. A union using an unauthorized, illegal list to harm its membership stands very close to zero chance of escaping an immediate injunction.

Well in all honesty I expected nothing less than what was brought to us, after all you have president management pilot and former ALPA memebers in there. We were screwed from the start. But now comes the hard part how do we doctor this up to make it look great for the pilot group.

The western idiots claim coc was never an issue. Same with the retired traitor BB. There it is, front and center. I bet you guys eastern and western don't have a clue what card you hold. Millions

You don't have to fight the Nic. The 9 th did it for you. It is the western division that is fighting the unwinnable war.

I have explained my position on the Nic to you over and over and over again.

Like I said, pay attention, or STFU. I never said he was a scab, I asked when he first realized he wanted to be one. HE openly said the we would cross a USAPA picket line, the main definition of a scab.

I knew you were one of the strangest guys I ever flew with, but at least I thought you had some intelligence. Sorry, I was wrong.

Res judicata is absolutely a scab. He and nic4 would cross like they did before. They are the chosen of Franke and early retiree and his wayward HR operation.
Traitorjake carries the flag of Franke at every opportunity. He will take more concessions with a smile even with record profits. Go figure.

No, the NAC, our lawyers and professional negotiator did this.

There is MUCH more to this than "we lost this and we lost that". The NAC members said they would all vote for it. The lawyers and negotiator said this is as good as it gets and puts us at the table on equal footing with APA. It enhances our position in front of the arbitrator for seniority arbitration. It guarantees all pilots on one pay rate at the POR. The parity is NOT to the term sheet. Term sheets rates go into effect at the POR. The parity provision is with United and Delta and that occurs after 3 years (down from 6 on the term sheet). We can only have 30 190s before they have to start dividing them between us and AA (if the company even wants them). If they shrink us, they have to shrink AA twice a much for widebodies and three times for narrowbodies with a 5% variance (I think I got this right). Not likely to happen or they won't have an airline to run.

Lots more. The BPR will decide if it goes out for a vote tomorrow.

Driver...

Another opportunity to extend LOA 93. My money says the easterners sign on in droves. Record profits and your idiot Hummel brings you this garbage. He is an idiot of the highest order.
