Listen up moron.....the "property" is owned by what was AWA.

You are the new kid on the block, and Res is dead on in his assesment of the 7 year giveback/failure to recoup.

Luv has stated over and over his supprt of usapa and taking pay concession to further the usapa agenda.

Well, I won't resort to name-calling. It just shows your immaturity and lack of respect. Whatever." New kid on the block." I use to respect your posts many moons ago. I thought ,for awhile , you made thought-provoking statements. I even agreed with some of what you said. Well, you've turned into an angry man who can't control his own mouth. And I have no respect for you and some of the others on this board.....on both sides of the river

And it will keep on costing the West.

12 months to close the deal. 24 more to get a joint list then 18 additional to a joint bid.

4.5 more years of separate ops with the min block hours and fleet count protections gone.

I hate to break it to you, but odds are there will be weticles out east a lot sooner than that. I'm not smiling about it, I was one of the guys long ago pushing for a min fleet count in PHX with a new contract. I don't want to head east and it would have kept the east happier having guys like me stay west of the Mississippi.

I'll take those odds anyday.

Same odds as I give to any type of legal action by AOL - though I'm sure they'll continue to bilk you for all the donations you can muster.

This time it's going before a Federal Arbitration backed by an act of congress. If the arbitrator rules it's a 3 way merge of seniority lists then how and who will you sue?

What will you do if it is the Nicolau and the APA list? Holding your breath and kicking your feet this time will not work.

It won't be. Parker etc have told you point blank they and corporate legal feel it's going to be a 3 way integration East, APA and AWA.

I'm sure, despite claims AOL is on the in with APA, the American pilots are not putting a 2005 hire from West in their skipper seats. So, APA, Usapa, the CEO and the company legal team are going to appear before the real deal - a Federal Arbitrator not an internal union process - and say it's a 3 way. I'm sure Marty will scurry in their and say it's not.

Then the Arbitrator will rule. And if he agrees it's a 3 way - I'll repeat myself - who are you ok going to sue? How can you possibly sue?

If the MOU is turned down your telling me end of story, how did the flt att vote go they understood scope was not the end of the world but a little better deal. Will see.

Noooo, I'm not telling you anything, I'm asking you questions. You have been shooting at this MOU for quite a while now. I thought you might have the inside info., since you were against it before it came out. But instead of answering the questions, even if it's your opinion, just talk in circles.

I don't know how I will vote. I'm kind of like PHX on that, if I had to answer today it would be a NO because I have questions. What I intend to do is read the document several more times, look for pitfalls, write down my questions and ask those who might know. If you find out more info., pass it on.

If the company needs our support, the best thing may be to vote it down. I just don't know if they need us or not. They certainly started out like they didn't. What I do know is that many that are throwing darts at this have a long, long history of failure.

Why would we sue? If it is a three way, who represents the west? Do you really think that it will be a three way and USAPA will represent the west? Seriously, sarcasm aside, who? USAPA can't represent both the east and the west if it is a three way, because it would be a conflict of interest. I'm not saying it can't be a three way, but someone other than USAPA or APA will have to represent the west.

Turnabout is fair play. What's Horton's best offer if usapa saves him xxx millions in a negotiated COC deal making it cost advantageous for LCC takeover.

Anyone have any information on this...it's out in the twitter universe...

"Elise Eberwein, Scott Kirby and Doug Parker on US Air flt 542 PHX-DFW to sign MOU with APA, to include $10k signing bonus"

I think Hummell was right in making half the NAC and Merger west. All up to speed and ready to go.

This is the big time now. Biggest airline and 15000 pilots, 100000 total employees. Aol tries to throw a wrench in this one and ...... Well, you could not have picked a better name.

I wish I knew more about the bankruptcy process. It would also be interseting to know if American taking over US would allow Parker to give Horton a large payout to leave. It's what I feel Horton is really after, he just can't get at American's equity while it's under the bankruptcy courts control.
