APA INFORMATION HOTLINE

This is APA Communications Director Gregg Overman with the APA Information Hotline for Wednesday, August 22.
APA BOARD DIRECTS PREPARATIONS FOR STRIKE BALLOTING: During today’s meeting of the APA Board of Directors at union headquarters in Fort Worth, the Board approved motions directing the National Officers to make the necessary preparations to conduct a strike vote of the membership and to initiate balloting upon the first action of AMR to impose any of the negative term sheet provisions. In addition, the board waived applicable policy to enable the APA Secretary-Treasurer to conduct the strike balloting electronically via Ballot Point.

TIME TO JOIN WITH THEM!!!!

ABSOLUTELY, IF HE WANTS TO SAY HE RUNS THE BIGGEST AIRLINE IN THE COUNTRY HE NEEDS TO COME UP WITH SOMETHING BETTER THAN THAT MOU.!!!!!

Wow, now you have been reduced to screaming. Step away from the computer, take a nap, calm down. This is what you get when you form a spite union to get out of your agreements.

I see those guys on the jump seat all the time and they are bordering on psycho. There is no doubt, in my opinion, they will strike ( with or without approval). They are a powder keg.

Well it's moot point now it will be going out for a vote and I'm sure the Tremblers will pass it, Way to go DCA.
Looks like things will finally move forward for a change. You sure have been crying a lot lately. Sounds like the only thing you ever wanted was stagnation. So sorry to see you are disappointed.

"Aloha" my Franke Air flunkey, hope your not begging for a pass then submit a bill for full airfair to the company, why think of the children. NB

"OR WHAT"? Moron! They don't need a single Easthole to want any part of this. USTUPID has been and always will be entirely irrelevant to anything regarding an airline. Vote no. Vote no and the only thing you'll get is 6 years until parity and zero dollars. Aren't you the one that quoted the Wilder blog about 50thousand times? Now you think he's a bald faced lying scumbag lawyer...just like Seham...another former hero of yours....what happened? Being told something you don't want to hear again? Do what's in your gut, it will backfire and fail miserably. Unbelievable that you don't have that foresight after SO much failure and idiocy.

Hey, it's "Creepy Stalker" time! You obviously went into the reservations system, got my name, and found out where I work, didn't you? For your info, I am paying for my flight, my car, my hotel and my conference.

And, as for my company, it is a non profit, we fight child abuse, we have been around for over 50 years and we work with adoption agencies. But, if you want to mock that go ahead, you have already proved to everyone that you are a creepy stalker that just can't leave an argument on an internet message board, nope, you gotta be a creepy stalker.

Amazing that they let you fly a plane, you have some serious mental defects.

If you worked for West, I'd swear you were "peekaboo Lou"

Kind of like Sandusky's outfit (PSU) just kidding, but I have to say I'm with you 110% on child abuse. All children deserve a great and happy childhood!!! because when they get older they wind up in places like this one. You keep up the good work.

DUI hasn't needed us for six years (there was no opportunity to form the world's largest airline until now). Now, after six years of low wages and an opportunity for him and his minions to plan for this day, he is suddenly in a panicked rush and needs our CoC so he can afford to pay APA pensions.

Maybe he doesn't need us, CoC, or the MOU now either.

Maybe if there's a merger he'd prefer to keep us on our present contracts for a couple years.

That would explan why he asked for so much and offered so little ($10,000).

That way he can say I made you an offer and you turned it down.

Just speculating.

Excuse me? Don't you dare slander our organization. If you had any idea the kinds of things our therapists have to deal with you would be sickened. We have been providing care and counseling and a place for kids to live and go to school away from parents that beat, assault and rape them. We give them back a childhood and find them parents that aren't horrible individuals. Don't you dare compare us to Sandusky, after that scandal broke, our people were interviewed on national TV on how to prevent child abuse. We run a 24/7 hotline for people to report abuse.

Apologize, and stop being such a creepy stalker who can't leave an internet argument on an anonymous internet board.

You are a very small, and petty man.

Just speculating.

If it were not for our min fleet protection, DUI would have parked another 200 planes off our property and replaced them with RJs.

Do you really think he would waste the opportunity to have our CoC, Min fleet, and LPPs?

Frankly I was disappointed in the MOU brief. It is completely devoid of any of the cons. We hear people saying the NAC had reservations about different provisions, yet they didn't list them out.

It appeared to me that the furlough protection only lasted until the JCBA, in like 18 months. Giving away min fleet and unlimited code share (on any company that currently code shares, not just on AA planes) looks like a bad combination to me.

There has not been enough analysis about the impact the combination of these new concessions will have, or at least the NAC hasn't provided it.

We are seeing it from a different departure point. You think the union fails worse when we delay a yes vote. I could care less what has happened in the past. We have never been in a position to negotiate with a frat boy that wants to run the biggest airline in the world.

Actually, I think the union is a failure as a whole. But that's another subject for another day.
