Perfect example is just how long DUI has dragged this out, besides to get to single carrier status to the point of negotiating a JCBA, could be a long time!
That may be exactly what Doug wants, keep us on LOA93/C2004 for a long time.

Yeah......I agree. What is next? They start a new airline and put it in BK in 30 sec. and then merge us for more concessions? This MOU is a turd and even after you shine it up it isn't going to smell like shinola!

Bob
Amen number 1 !

Put it on Ebay or CraigsList and see what you get. Parker doesn't need CoC waived - it just gives him more options.

Jim

Jim,

I won't speak for others but I'm not in a giving mood anymore.

Bob

As Jim pointed out, he may want that option but I don't believe he needs it.
Like I said before I give DUI less than a 10% chance of this even happening, and when it doesn't DUI will take his money and leave! MM This BS MOU is nothing but fodder to hold up to anyone that will listen to say " I have the pilots backing", while all the time this groups cons go to pay an AA pilots cost of his pension, NO THANX!

What furloughs would that be? Under the terms of the MOU they are pay protected even if they sit home as long as they don't pass on a recall.

You say you were there. If you were, you heard the same things I did. If so, why would you take such an asinine statement seriously?

Driver...
Listen up, he said he didn't if anyone was furloughed not that we were going to.

Well 9 are you sitting down?

After reading the MOU document and carefully considering the information. Ready?

I agree with you.

This MOU is a piece of crap. A bad deal for all of us. The language is weak. There are holes the company can drive through. If Parker wants this deal he is going to have to bring a much bigger check book and a lot better protections.

Kill it at the BPR or send it out. I am a no vote on this. We do not need to get caught up in a BK cram down half assed contract.
Wow, Clear, My wife found me on the floor but the doctor said I will be OK, just try to avoid big shocks especially at my age, not sure whether to believe you or not.. But this deal is not got for us. I really hope you do agree on that, the other stuff I know where you stand and you know where I stand that won't change.

I would not be suprised to see the APA make a move of some sort with us very soon. 😉

I just heard that USAPA has signed some kind of agreement with the company that if we merge with AA, they have waived LPP's, some Scope language and min. aircraft. Is there any truth to that?

Word from the BPR meeting is that APA read the MOU that most of you are thumbing your noses at, liked the protections it gives, and want to be included. OK, now decide if you want to take a pass on those protections and hand them over to the APA. Sounds like they would be glad to have them. Negotiations are underway.
