Word from the BPR meeting is that APA read the MOU that most of you are thumbing your noses at, liked the protections it gives, and want to be included. OK, now decide if you want to take a pass on those protections and hand them over to the APA. Sounds like they would be glad to have them. Negotiations are underway.

Driver...
I am sure they love it, and DUI is telling them everything they want to hear, setting this pilot group up for total disaster! Yes I will pass!

You do that. It offsets my yes vote. We're even after two votes. 🙂
If it comes to it DONE! MM! Amazing how DUI can get together with the AA pilots at the drop of a hat, but can't negotiate a deal with us, maybe he is telling them he will pay them to strike HORTON!

Received an email from USAPA leadership. To paraphrase:

Until we are part of APA, they have no obligation to look after our interests. The term sheet is between APA and LCC management. USAPA is excluded. The MOU was not crafted till last week, very late in the process. It gives USAPA a place at the table and a say in how things progress. Without the MOU the APA will determine our future. Economic interests are lining up to support the merger. We either have a place at the table or not.

No sh?t. All of the above has been crystal clear obvious from the word go. A no vote will change nothing except add and additional 10k in the loss column.

Their job is to lower our comp package. Don't forget it.

FA
I may have to remind you that USAPA's job was to raise it, yet they have been far more effective in lowering the average compensaion than management has been in recent memory.

If emotions overcome you, don't take it out on the little wooden box you delivered your cards in.

So are you saying Doug really needs our CoC but he's playing hard to get?

Then I wonder why the PHX reps voted to not send the MOU out to the membership, and when the BPR did vote to, it was unanimous for a recommendation of a no vote, with one PHX abstaining? Or so I heard.

Once again I am gonna ask this, the AFA and three IAM CBA's have the Change of Control language.

Unless the company gets four other CBAs to remove the language the COC is still on company property.

How wrong you are Bob...you're gonna keep giving twice a month as long as you're on LOA 93 and you don't seem to mind one bit...

Jim

Jim,

Guess I have gotten used to LOA93. Have learned to take it easy and with less that 4 months to go I don't think I'll miss that little bit of extra money. If I want more money all I have to do is start flying my monthly obligation. If I want time off all I have to do is get sick.

Bob
