Well, I've read this thing....and I wouldn't line my cats litter box with the paper it's written on.

If you guys vote for this...you're idiots!

We are not in bankruptcy!!!! American Airlines is!!!!

Why would you tie your tail to someone who's in backruptcy with their BK provisions? No Scope! No LPP's!! No min. aircraft!!
Not to mention their lousy sick time.

The only thing I see is you'll be E190 or CRJ pilots. That's all you get.

You are being thrown under the bus.!!!!

Wake the hell up!!!

Reminds me of 2005...

We're not in bankruptcy, US Airways is!!

Why would you tie your tail to someone who's in backruptcy with their BK provisions?

Good question.....Now where did I put that time machine?

Opinion......I don't know what Hummel is up to or how the Professional negotiator and the other two attorneys could possibly recommend taking this.
How does an emotional, ignorant line pilot who isn't trusted with a vote able to outsmart 3 dispassionate observers?

Take their advice, take Parker's scraps and move on. You might even want to wear your yellow lanyard when if you vote.

There are always consquences to every decision. So far the east has eluded theirs, but that is quickly coming to a close.

[sup]Youv'e never been tied to our provisions....you have your contract...we have ours. This thing drags everyone down. And not just us....the whole industry.[/sup]

Thanks Bean,

I think leaving out those guys out of the MOU is a good reason to vote no and try for another pass.

Bob
There will be no second pass. You guys are like a drowning man turning down a life jacket because it's the wrong color.

The company will see a NO vote for what it is - a juvenile attempt to push Parker around. They won't come back until Hummel begs them and then he gives up something from the original MOU to get the furloughees, or whatever. They have never come back to the table with a bigger pie, only a bigger knife.

If you wanted to vote NO and participate in steering your career, you should have abandoned the USAPA scheme before it started and accepted the NIC and completed the JCBA. You would be facing this with 5000 unified pilots and the leverage that would bring.

A perfect summary of the Bradford legacy of USAPA. It would make a great plaque outside CLT World Headquarters.

Yeah!!! They are in bankruptcy not us. Even though they have a way better contract and work rules than us. We need to strike. Thats what I'm talking about. We need to push our unsuited 7,2 all in!!! Either raise or fold, and I ain't folding!!! Don't be under the bus. Jump inside, and tell the APA to move over, USAPA is driving now! We know all about bankruptcy you idiots! Who would vote for a pay raise that is within mere dollars of that cruddy contract at Delta. We are the bomb and deserve to be paid as such. Don't tie your tail to a litter box. Tell them to line their bird cages with this garbage MOU!!! Take your lousy sick time and put it somewhere else. We want to be the highest paid or the lowest! Its your move MR. Parker. Good luck sir, good luck. Oh, and like the other guy said, we want no scope, no LPP's, and no min. aircraft!!!

Well, I've read this thing....
Then you didn't comprehend it at all.
No Scope!
Sure is. All they did was change the code share from STAR to ONE WORLD.
No LPP's!!
Yes there are. Sections 3 and 13 of the LPP regarding seniority are covered in McCaskill-Bond.
No min. aircraft!!
Any reduction in flying is at least HALF the hit AA takes. BTW, this merger is about market share. You can't have that and shrink the airline.
Not to mention their lousy sick time.
1000 cap but we get to keep what we have above 1000 and either use it or sell it back to the company.
The only thing I see is you'll be E190 or CRJ pilots. That's all you get.
Not unless that is all AA gets as well since the number of 190 aircraft are shared between LCC and AA after the 30th aircraft (we have 15 already)
You are being thrown under the bus.!!!!
You're about to throw yourself under the bus.
Wake the hell up!!!
You wake up. You are obviously dreaming if you think your post was anything near correct.

Driver...

All I can tell you Driver is "wow".

[clap, clap, clap, clap]

USAPA should demand an industry leading contract via an MOU with ZERO concessions, while the company is under no obligation to negotiate with the pilots.
Now is the time to press our minimal leverage into the abyss. It is time to go for broke. Its the best damn contract ever or several more years of LOA93 and no representation. The APA will look after our interests for us.
The NAC only achieved 99% of what the BPR tasked it with. That is shameful. They should have achieved at least 172%. Did they think the BPR would just forget about that 1%. Terrible, just terrible.
If the company doesn't agree to our onerous demands than at least they will continue to save millions every year in pilot costs. I bet they didn't think of that. They just aren't as smart as we are.

The BPR did not direct the NAC to maintain Scope, min fleet, and CoC. That should have been understood to be non-negotiable.

DUI says he will make a billion $ a year. He should expect any more concessions.

You had me at "He should expect any more concessions". And just between you and me. I think he will. I also believe that the BPR's indirection is understood as non-negotiable, and is worth at least a billion $ a year.

I have a baaad feeling that's exactly what they're going to do. It appears that the only way to get the east pilots off of LOA93 is by dragging them away as they're clinging to it, kicking and screaming, ie APA takes over. Oh well, guess there is nothing to do but kick back and enjoy 2004 for a few more years. By the way, why do you want to move to Davidson?

Bean

Bojangles headquarters are located there

Simple question.
If east contract CofC is being removed by this MOU, why would the 40 M be split by both sides? (I know the fleet mins change but new furlough and pay protections apply to both sides. The crown jewel however is being given by east contract only)

88,
Great question. This mou was a rush job by the Compass Corruption/Hummel leadership team. They put the NAC team together. They own this pos mou. Good luck to all of us.

I was wondering when an Eastie would float the idea of stealing more than their share...you never disappoint.
