4. Profit sharing
5. Reinstating Airbus shooter
6. Allowing USAPA to drag it's feet without consequence
7. Inequitable furloughs / recalls
8. Allowing CLP to remain
9. Moving MOC/SOC to PIT
10. Inequitable training overpayment settlement

I have just scratched the surface, but you have never faced a CEO who really played hardball with you. The east pilots have a history of denying the realities of the present and then paying for it well into the future.

That seems to be changing with this MOU and the merger with AMR. There seems to be a new-found activism on the part of the line pilots to part with the dead-end past and join with a group who has combined unity and resolve to become a relevant force in crafting their own destiny. The US pilots could have done the same had they not sat on their hands and allowed a small minority to capitalize on apathy to extract what they wanted and leave the carcass behind.

What group is saying "yes". The BPR says "no", the Compass Correction says "no", the Cleary group says "no". The PHX reps say "no".

I don't seem to be on the email distro from the "yes" group.

P.S. Since you think DUI has attacked the West constantly by giving benefits to the East at the expense of the West, do you now think he has suddenly turned a new page?

I can only surmise that neither of us has yet been approved for full Party Membership in the Brave New World...sniffle/etc 😉
 
Cleary was the strongest union leader this group has ever had as president. He was elected by the majority. This weak ass group of pilots wasn't ready for a leader like Mike. The weak sisters have control of the union now and within 4 short months have raised the white flag. Sad!

Agreed. This pilot group always blames its' leaders. Cleary was just another one to blame. LOA 93 was passed by a pilot group that was not smart enough to insist on a deal with an end date. Pure and simple. There is absolutely no excuse for taking that deal the way it was written. This MOU is the same. The scope and COC is a no for me. There is no way I am going to vote my scope away. I don't know how, but they are going to have to take it from me. If the majority votes yes, then that is how it is taken. But I personally will not give it.

You are insane. You happily stayed on Loa 93 handing Parker well over a Billion dollars in lost earnings. Cleary sold all of you out at your insistance. Cleary never gave anything because Parker was already getting more than he ever dreamed from you. Cleary made sure that lasted as long as possible.
 
This is the bottom line. They can blame Cleary all day. The truth is Franke Air had the AWA wages down for years, and used them to destroy the good airlines. You can thank AWA and their pilots for your pension loss. Their disgusting model became the norm after their pilots were used world wide to destroy the piloting profession. This AA mess is the final Franke impact. The last to have a pension. Now the Franke minions will try to lever up a deal for their idiot plans. Unbelievable. I would vote no to Franke and Parker. You really have no choice. To say yes to their plans is surrender. Your scope is the prize, and they want it for a big reason. Make them take it.

Well...then take pity on all of us doubt-ridden "idiots" and with properly reasoned detail, fully explain how this is truly and unquestionably a "good deal" for all concerned....?....?.....? Be especially specific as to any/all supposed "protections" that are, no doubt, well defined, iron clad, and included as currently written....? Spare no needed details, because, as but an "idiot" I've long held the foolish belief that the devil does indeed reside in the details....or lack thereof....

Start anytime you believe yourself ready to allay all foolish concerns from those that have "no clue about the world around them...."..rather than continue to firmly establish yourself as such.

That's the part you just don't get skippy, if I have to stay on LOA93 till the end so be. NO MORE FAVORS FOR THIS PLACE!!! THE EAST PILOTS HAVE GIVEN ALREADY. Are you really that proud to be the sceond lowest paid in the industry, you brought the industry down form your inception.

The Mike Cleary I remember from the Addington trilal was the easily intimidated little man I almost ran over going into the men's room. He's not not a very tall guy, much like Seham who he was having a bathroom break like two teenage girls.

He would not even speak with his Phoenix rep, David Braid. He only acknowledged his small entourage of East pilots who attended the trial. The same Mike Cleary I saw cowering by the elevator after his defeat in Phoenix. This is a scene I'm anxious to see repeated.

I hope the litle fella returns for another beating.

As far as the MOU goes...he is just as ignorant of the facts involved, and does not know shot. He is a web board flame bait scab wannabee, who posts under the guise of an OAL pilot.

He did not have an uncle at Wein...had to read old articles to get a clue about the Australia pilots, and no way in hell does he work for Northwest. Most likely he is either a furloughed east guy, ex-MDA- or maybe possibly a furloughed guy who never came back after he took the job a Pinacle.


This MOU is not a good deal...but it is the only deal. Go ahead and vote it down and revisit the old saying of just when I thought it couldn't get any worse.
