Maybe Parker needs to go talk to his buddies at Delta NWA CAL and UAL and learn how to put together a merger?!?!?!

If we vote the MOU land grab into existence, they need to come to Parker for Merger 101.
 
He had to get him as he was bought and paid for,there was much more work to be done for Franke Air. Pensions to take, international scabbing operations to man, pay scales to take down.

He also resigned the chairmanship.... would not want to look like he was bought.

But, speaking of bought....your boyfriend Cleary sure has you whipped.
 
Parker will fail in this one also, number six. There is a lot of money to be made here with low hanging fruit. Parker is just not cut out of the material it takes to run a large airline successfully. It takes more than fleecing and demoralizing employees and charging extra for bags after the rest of the industry does it. Parker has not had an original thought other than attacking his employees.
The rest of his Franke air division will have to accept they will get their seniority in a decent and acceptable fashion, as the rest of the employees have. The AWA pilots have been a total embarrassment to the company in their seniority land grab. After the AA deal crashes, it will all be over.

Um...hey idiot...AWA was the first to get food service back on board after 911...the bag fee was LCC's idea, and the only thing you have gotten right in the last year or so is brushing your teeth after your dates with Cleary.

5 years on LOA93 vs the Kirby proposal is close to $180,000 bucks. Not to say the Kirby was a great deal, but using it as a point of reference, how can you say there were no givebacks?

Those givebacks were due to ALPA not Cleary.

None of them have any respect for him. His only advantage is he takes his employees working wages, and charges excessive fees. When he fails to get the employees to go for his crappy deals and MOU his world will come crashing down. The stockholders are sick and tired of his failure to merge. The rest of the airline appears to be sick and tired of the land grab the AWA pilots are attempting with seniority. The rest of the airline has merged date of hire. Time to get real, and get your airline moving ahead instead of holding it back. Even Parker appears tired of your group in his employee sessions.

The company/jerry glass will and has complied with what a union called usapa is doing and has done. Quite successfully BTW.

Indeed. What higher testimony to truly innovative genius could be found anywhere on earth? Now the jetways always look like baggage storage areas...Brilliant!....and well...of course we shouldn't forget charging for sodas...that was truly a stroke of genius that worked out brilliantly, and....there's always "Res Migration" = Complete Meltdown to consider. Nevermind that last, as it was, in the words of wannabe-but-washed-out-attempted-but-FAILED-to become USAF pilot kirby, an op that apparently went with "military precision" (I doubt I could have responsibly found use for such a person as could say that as so much as a squadron chock)....There just aren't enough laughing emoticons in all of cyber space to afford a proper salute to the true quality of team tempe's finest. Lord forbid their EVER being honestly compared to ANY people with actual character, vision and ability. Simple minded notions like ever building a network, engendering loyalty and a sense of mutual purpose, competing on strengths, or even the least bit of aggressive marketing should never be factored in here. God knows that any such endeavors would require people with some semblance of real character, brains and guts.......ummm...for our purposes here? = Nevermind 😉

Driver. I'd respectfully suggest that everyone is best served when all just drag any/all details out into the sunlight for examination and debate. It's the WTF?/uncertanty factor that so easilly allows for people to just otherwise coil up and hiss at each other, without resolving anything. Those in favor or opposed would do well as advocates, by advancing their positions through logical explanations.

I'm all ears as to why this should pass. No one reasonably wants to give up any possible gains....but must remain very much opposed based upon the glaring concessions by themselves.

Perhaps, if we're to truly discuss this issue here; we should all uncoil and hiss a bit less, if any of us are to be heard 😉

On that note...umm...sorry Otter. The "certain groups"? = Yeah...Yours!" didn't help my notion of uncoling a bit.

Maybe, just maybe...we should all actually and honestly talk about the details in this mou scenario......What the hell...it'd at least be something different to do on this board 😉 I see it as being yet more absurd and needless concessions. The floor, as always here, is open.
