I thought roll call votes went away with ALPA.

Also there will never be a strike the east is not stupid, many former EAL here. If we walked mgmt would downsize phx and bring west pilots east to happily fly our routes. Perfect opportunity for mgmt. no thanks

There is a huge difference between remembering the past and living in it.

It seems east pilot can not get out of the past and look forward.

I and many other east pilots were too laid back concerning our ALPA and AAA union leaders in the past . Our laziness bit us in the ass! I've learned from this and now I make my wishes known and personally converse with my reps attempting accountability . That's NOT living in the past.

I agree and I'm guilty of that. I guess I also used to think that those guys with all that union experience must have known more than I did. Not so sure of that anymore. I do tell my reps what I think, but they just ignore me.

usapa supporters take advantage of a labor dispute in an attempt to take jobs that are not theirs. They strip the West of union representation, actively persecute the West, deny the West its rights under the RLA, remove any chance for section 6, undercut the West pay in order to reap benefits from the company, and you don't like the word scab when it is improperly used?


Res did not say he would love to be a scab. He said he would cross a usapa picket in a heartbeat. Would that make Res a scab? Sure. Sounds to me that Res is willing to fight fire with fire.

Now guys like me would rather fight the usapa scab fire with urine. i won't cross the scabs picket line...i will stand at a comfortable distance from it an piss all over it.
