Just out of curiosity, what does AWA agent uniform consist of.... Do they have to wear a tie... I'm hoping for a more causal uniform... Some of us work both inside and out... This has been the hottest summer in a while and running in and outside does not make us look very professional.... Just wondering...

Not sure what they wear, but I hope the merged airline can come up with uniforms that are not only comfortable and professional, but serve to identify the work group.

Presently , all USAirways employees basically wear the same outfit. Agents wear shirts with no epaulets. F/As have epaulets with no stripes. Pilots wear rank stripes on theirs.

I would like to see more distinctive uniforms to make it easire to identify customer service from flight crews. And anything that would make an agent more comfortable in their daily toils would be welcome, I'm sure.
