Did everyone leave?

It is sad Tim. It is sad that the asso had to get help from the co. in order for them to stay on property. Your right AMFA doesn't have an organizer full time. Something I don't really agree with, but that is how AMFA is built and ran.
Im not sure if amfa filed an appeal of interference but even though the company literally teamed up with the association such appeal would most likely fail as the nmb is very tight with mainline unions which offer compliance.

Tossing 1,400 rampers on the list was a real stretch and i called the main organizers and told them i should be able to get them at least a couple hundred cards from those 1400. But i was told, 'we have enough cards' and those 1400 additions will be removed.

Ive never seen anything so blatant where the nmb authorized sufficient interest but then the company was allowed to add 1400 rampers, which made the total headcount 25 cards short.
This country has proven that a democracy only exist in idea only.

Know your history dude...it was AMFA in the 60's who argued that certain crafts belong in the classification. Back when they were trying to get AMTs at Eastern. It's not collusion. It's years of precedence. Are you looking for an organizer position with them given we tossed you from the machinists organizing team a few years back?

Peterson sold out all his friends???
.....coworkers and aircraft technician industry for his cush 500k a year job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And AMFA laid down earlier this month when it let Southwest outsource ALL of its 737-700 engine overhaul work to a vendor in Miami. Worry about the work you have and AMFA represented carriers have none of....

Hey man how you doin over there in PBI? You’ve been as quiet as a Church Mouse in a field looking for the building. I hope you haven’t been moonlighting as a Bridge operator and were responsible for this tragedy?

Agree.
I have heard of another drive in the works but this time around they are not letting ANY info out at all, to anyone outside their own organizers circle. They have had way too many moles in the past, so they are forced to take this route.
The rampers getting added were completely wrong of the NMB. So once again the NMB works with the co. and existing union representation, so sad indeed. Stay tuned Tim...

JB, this is nothing new at all. All that work has been and was previously sent out since way back in the teamsters contract that allowed it. Engine work is engine work that follows the different models of aircraft 300-500-700-800 etc... Basically it was a renewed contract to extend the previous work performed. Not an AMFA issue it's an older teamster language contract.

I just looked at the new systemwide seniority list that the company put out and this is the majority of the M&R group that the TWU/IAM Association represents. (Employed people)

9329 Aviation Maintenance Group
1080 AMT Crew Chiefs
1809 Facilities/GSE Mechanics
217 Facilities/GSE Crew Chiefs
471 Inspectors
174 Maintenance Control Techs
1782 Material Logistics Specialists
235 MLS Crew Chiefs
405 Planners
And a few smaller groups that I left out of the count.

That grouping alone is 15,502 M&R and growing.

At least at AA these skilled professionals can find work. Trying to get a job under AMFA representation is like trying to find a Wonka Bar Golden Ticket in a store that only sells underwear.

Hey Tim here’s a copy of that “DENIED” appeal that AMFA filed. Oops 😬

The Associations response.

And finally AMFA’s (Boo Hoo) response to that denial dated October 1, 2021

So I just pulled up the AMFA LM2 for 2020 and found something pretty interesting. First AMFA does have as of 2020, 3800 Active Members. What strikes me as rather jocular (hilarity ensues) is how in that last letter to the AA AMT’s (The Boo Hoo letter) Brett Ostriches asks the AA AMT’s to become “Associate Members” of AMFA and they’ll get some hats, buttons and maybe a swizzle stick and a small bag of generic nuts.

Well I have to say that at least back in 2020 we can see how many people were interested in that sort of thing since they only had “4” Associate Members. Lol. I would really love to know who those 4 schmucks are? Damn 4 is worse than the schelacking AMFA took when they only got “8” write in votes for that USAIRWAYS contest.

Yes they did. But I guess they’re also going to blame the IBT for the automobile putting the Horse and Buggy out of business too though?

Stop...AMFA had plenty of opportunities to get that work back...Just stop with the argument that it is somebody else' fault. Its AMFA's fault. Period.

And don't forget...a PAC with less than $7000.00 in it. (Yes, I wrote seven thousand.)

I think that might just about cover a one meeting meal and bar tab with a Congressional Leader in DC but they’ll definitely have to stiff the staff if they want to be able to afford the cab ride back to the Airport.

You are incorrect. No, not looking for anything but you are free to continue with personal attacks.
Carry on.
