Fleet Service thread IAM

I fear that we will only get a look at the "highlight" sheet and not the full contract with wording.

You can use the Highlight sheet in the restroom. Thats all it's good for. The total package is the only legit print..............

Numerous attempts were made to log-on… And many failed between 17:30 and 18:30 (EST)!

First off to Mike and Dave a very loud a clear Thank You for standing up for Fleet Service! You have earned much respect from me and many more workers we have your back and will support you. We are proud of you standing your ground for the members you represent!
You have gained respect thru listening to the membership not Canale!

The days are numbered for Canale crew and the voting nails are ready for the team 2008 coffin

if United is a dance partner as some think ,what is their fleet contract situation and where can we read it?
 
The perverbial fly on the wall says that Canale and others watch this sight and are, to say
the least dismayed by our responses. I don't get what they expected. Canale was walked out
on the last time he offered up a TA and in doing so him and TB along with Flynn and Chandlee
(outside) stood there punch drunk. THEY DO NOT GET IT !!! Thank You to Fairbanks and Hall
in knowing right from wrong. The union is scrambling now because people want to know why
these two didn't sign off..............ring..........ring........no answer. These two are done with the
lies.
Canale along with any other signatures on this rag need to be addressed and removed for
the good of the whole. All reps including the newly elected PHL rep need to held accountable.
Simmons, was one of the Hayden supporters back in Sep. and came on here in support of Haydens'
Q&A under a PHL Lodge name and got called out and left. He also tried in vane to drive down the
YES vote last Sep. and in mid-day switched sides. He talks from both sides of his mouth. You know
how you can tell when hes' lying ? His lips are moving''.


Get the word out...to those of you who say wait...agreed but why isn't the union letting us see
this asap. ''Dressing it up''. There's a saying, ''You can put a $3000 suit on a rapist but hes' still
a rapist.''

Thanks for the kind words. Canale's negotiations team was split on this dreadful contract so he eliminated two of them since he needed an unanimous vote. That's what Canale does. We will most likely be in receipt of letter 'soon' from negotiations members who were 'booted' just to get the TA.
Further, I'm going to the meeting in PIT. MW disrespected me as the ORD Local Chairman and instead invited someone else from ORD to attend the meeting but ORD is tighter than two coats of paint and his bid failed. I'm going and I want to see Canale kick me out of the meting like he kicked out two of our fine negotiators. This bum is out of control. I'll be there one way or the other as the representative, duly recognized by the great local 1487. I'll be there with or without positive space even though all other Local Chairman get positive space to attend. I'll drive if Hemenway doesn't provide ps for me out of ORD.

This guy Canale is stuck at about $19 buck even as Continental just announced last week that it will give its rampers a 2% pay raise that brings them up to $20.43. Morons, we got morons on our team. Continental pay raise, click here.

For goodness sake these bums gotta go when a union rep like Canale lets us make less than non union he has to go and all the other people on the negotions committee have to go as well. We have given up so much in the past and this is how the fight for us? I can tell you this the PHL rep for signing this TA would be better off just to sign his resignation letter because thats where his traitoris move will lead him. He will go down in disgrace just like Hayden.

Fairbanks and Hall have respect but the others are now disgraced leaders and have lost all respect.

I heard a union rep say that a merger was in the works with United and that the IAM would end up replacing the CWA as the union for the customer service side? Does this make any sense to anyone? Does the IAM Cover United's fleet and customer service agents?

something to ponder on ... Back in 05 ..Canale supposed fought hard to get COC language in our contract.. even gave up other concessions .. class II citys

class II payrates and so forth to get THAT LANGUAGE IN OUR CONTRACT.. Now fast forward to 08 in the bottom of the ninth inning of the M/A game he want

to pull it out.. WTF NOW MORE THAN EVER WE NEED THAT LANGUAGE.. Randy quit thinking like a manager and start thinking like a so called UNION MAN ...

United PCE group organized IAM in 97 which covers Gate Ticket counter Resevations workers. The Fleet Service group is IAM as well

Its a massive organized group of contract workers
