Ok, all of you guys trying to discredit Tim are only talking smack and backing nothing up with evidence...

I could make myself sound like the pope by saying it over and over again, but it isn't true.


Try some FACTS when you call his integrity into question, otherwise you just look like IAM chodes.

I actually think urbff has a point. Here's some evidence, he told us to vote no to September's contract....we did, now I'm missing about 2k in pay I could have had, sick time I could have used, (Yes I have a lot in my bank), and holidays.

Then we were going to be getting a 30k back pay check when we won the CIC, never got that check.

And furthermore what the heck does:
"I am speaking as an IAM member to IAM members and am not necessarily a US AIRWAYS employee"
that mean?
Leads us to wonder what his political agenda is? Or does he just have an altruistic fondness for USAirways ramp rats?? I somehow doubt it. Also, last I checked US isn't that big in ORD so where is all this coming from?

Oman recently asked me to give my story for some credibility, I did. What's yours Tim?

Talk about sock puppet flame bait! I'm not a huge nelson fan but at least he helped dump our previous GC/manager suck-ups who (when originally placed in office) promptly disapeared from view only to be found dangling from management buttocks. The current team (Canale shunned nc member included) have been completely accessible and communicative. A majority of CLT agents didn't even know who the previous gc were!!
I don't know if the new direction team will be any better but, if they follow the current behavior of our new gc then godspeed and thanks for the help because we desperately need it.

That's fine then. You have examples. Just because you gave examples doesn't mean I am going to stop listening to Tim period. Hopefully he has a rebuttle..

I dont understand what is so hard for people to see about this TA.

It comes down to the fact that this contract is the lowest in the fleet service airline industry. Is that really what some of you want? To be at the bottom? If so the company and the IAM have beat you down to submission.

I think and I believe that this airline and the IAM could have found a better TA with higher wages and better sick and profit sharing etc etc There is no excuses for a crappy garbage that this is. Why is it that UAL a unionized airline along with SWA have better contracts and language than this? Simple answer is there is no respect for Fleet from the mgmt nor the IAM clowns. I have to believe that Canale threw this together with help from another clown--aka--Hemingway although im sure that he could have done it on his own. Why did he exclude some members of the IAM officials from participatin--may be they saw how horrible the ta is and if it aint canale way then its the highway

Imagine that.....your beloved iam 'representing' M&R and double the concessions than other groups. Are we surprised? PHL was right to vote no - they were some of the educated techs who actually read the T/A.....but too bad for M&R because the iam coughed up MILLIONS again.

So far I have been exposed as a credible person. Your post and a few others like it are just venting with no facts, no nothing. Another thing I'm going to expose is the fact that ALL of the west brothers and sisters will NOT be vested in the IAM Pension plan for 5 years. How's that for exposed. The only ones who were immediately vested were the ones who were active before DOS in 2003. Even on the east side. Many workers quit before they reach 5 years and unfortunately the poor fellas get screwed again and ARE NOT VESTED.
Did Randy tell you guys about how your company contributions into the IAM pension plan will be to the IAM and not you? and that unless you remain a member of the IAM for 5 years, you won't be finally vested?

We are putting together informational materials for the west siders so they can be educated, instead of all the 'absolute lies' that MR is telling them. We will expose this person 'dearly' for all the deception being caused. We have the emails hardcopied that were sent to the west leaders and it was one big packaged lie. We will expose this 'soon'.

In regards to the IBEW, it was a long shot, but at least we have people willing to step up and try to defend us against the IAM cowards. We have seen time and again that they clearly do not have our best interest in mind. Look at this garbage TA... It's no better than a BANKRUPTCY contract. I understand what Tim and his crew are upset about, and why they want to make changes.

What has the IAM done for us? NOTHING! We should have been in section 6 a long time ago but they don't have the grapes to make a move!

Look how the IAM forgot the COC language. That's a FUNDAMENTAL union function to prevent such things from happening, and they failed and continue to disappoint.

No, the hidden agendas here belong to the IAM. Tim and his band of merry men have wanted to go on record MANY times against the IAM but they have something to hide from the membership.

The website information is really well done The Continental Pages are really an eye opener. How could anyone think Canale is doing a good job? You pay 50 bucks a month in dues to get better wages and benefits for us right? The IAM is the industry union leader Right? Well the CO. Documents don't lie We will make less than a non union airline ramper by $1.43 an hr. and most other union airlines.

Thanks for the spotlight Tim in showing the truth. And the Truth hurts Canale and his band of misfits who support this rag.

I voted Union to have better than an Non Union condtions its seems to me Canale is driving the IAM membership right into the ground.

I talked with a guy who use to work in ORD the other day and I aksed him about Tim.
He said he worked nights didnt see him much but he kinda made it clear even in his own station hes not always a welcome site.
Im not tring to bash anyone here but from what I have read and seen over these last several months is Tim is only in it for Tim. The facts just dont mean anything to him most of the time, in fact I equate what he and his friends to almost a cult following. I do respect him though in some of his research and his dedication.
As far as Im concerned here and, for anyone who plans on voting no its my money your gambling with here when you say bring us back more. Well there not going to bring us back more and I for one dont feel like waiting anymore for that pie in the sky hope for best contract right now.
I certainly am not willing to wait another 3 years to improve my pay at the class 2 level.
I beleive my west counterparts are not either.
Its time to move on and be done with this transition, we will be stronger for it as we all join under one agreement.
If we do find ourselves in another merger than I also think we will be in a much stronger position.

Thank you for your unbiased opinion. I would like to add one bit of info. Instead of believing Canale, could you at least do yourself a favor before you libel someone and pick up the phone and call my local and ask them who the Local Chairman is? I think you owe me that much before you agree with everything Canale sez.

Instead of offering up personal attacks can you stick to the issues? Kindly refute the information I have provided and will provide regarding this TA. Yes and in a month ot two they may come thru and just shut down a few stations and say we cant affford this pay raise. Since they have no protection like this agreement has for us.
I dont care what CO or WN or any of them do. They have different cost structures and many other factors involved. You cant compair apples to oranges.
