im quite surprised that some of the flights are rather heavy today  including a DFW MD 80 I worked and the ERJ 145 JFK flight 250pm dept flight.

airlines have the ability to price their seats such that people will buy.

Hope you had a great day and get to spend some time with your family later today and during the rest of the holidays.

All the best to you!

thanks   i got to see my kid open his gifts then off to work i went

happy holidays all

surprisingly, DL employees have LONG been able to figure out how to work and succeed in a system where they deal directly with their own mgmt. and not a union.

do you honestly think that most Americans want to share their personal financial information including their pay with someone else?

it is precisely these flawed assumptions that you tout as sacred but yet which many DL employees don't want that explain why there the NO SALE sign has gone up at DL time after time after time.

You are being dishonest again.

Time after time?

How many times in the past 10 years did the DL ramp vote?

I believe that would be once or twice.

I didn't say the ramp alone.

you don't even know how many times the DL ramp has voted?

ps... it only took one NO vote.

btw, Kevin will be happy to post on here the track record of the IAM and other unions in organizing any of the largest work groups at DL.

here's a HINT: ZERO

Once again you dont answer the question.

How many times has there been a union vote for the ramp at DL in the past 20 years?

And how many times has there been a union vote at DL for the FAs in the past 20 years?

And let me give you a hint, unionization in the industry is in the up swing.

JetBlue, VX and Spirit to name a few.  DL will be next.

And why would a nine year early out (took the money and ran) devote so much time to an airline forum message board, touting against unions and praising DL like its a deity for no money nor any financial gain?

not been nine years..... footless with the facts again. so union of you.

one ramp vote.

three FA votes.

ALL of them were lost causes for the unions.

As will all of the future votes.

The NO SALE sign is being held by DL employees.

so when the IAM comes in for the FAs and the Ramp  we all can bring this lit statement you claim as NO Sale sign and all future votes to you and say we told you so   Kip's Firing sure as hell helps the IAM at DL when the card drive is held

well obviously if any DL group organizes, then I will be wrong.

We've been hearing for years - and I do mean since before I left DL - that DL's combined labor groups would choose the unions.

Labor unions lost more members as a result of the DL-NW merger than perhaps any other event in the US airline industry.

I feel pretty comfortable in saying that Kev will leave DL as a non-union employee
