and even if those numbers are accurate, they affect a small subset of the total workforce.

not everyone flies int'l, even fewer are pursers, and not all of the workforce has topped out benefits.
You should let DL know that; almost all of their pay/benefit communications (and comparisons) touch only on TOS employees...

This is so true.

I'd guess 85% of the FA corps is topped out at 13 year pay, and 15% are new hires like me at the bottom, with hardly nobody in between. 🙂

I'm looking forward to topping out in 13 years instead of 15! 😀
2 years of higher income can be quite a lot.

Not unlike my topping out in 5 yrs. (thanks IAM!) compared to the 11 my DL counterpart had to wait...

I've never said that any carrier's method of showing TOS salaries is reflective of what most people will bring home.

second, DL's demographics are absolutely different. DL has hired thousands of FAs since it emerged from BK and has also aggressively pushed early retirement options. The demographics of DL's FA group are clearly different than they were several years ago.

and as much as the APFA wants to talk about industry -leading at AA, WN employees have long had a substantial advantage over other employees... but they aren't growing as quickly. AS FAs just got a substantial increase in salaries.

and DL is still paying the highest level of profit sharing of any US carrier. and DL has and is giving pay raises.

I'm glad for AA employees that they have not had to remain at BK wages for long.

Then you should let them know their corp. communications aren't reflective of the audience they're trying to reach.

since I have regular contacts with people from Labor Relations, I can ensure you that they have made their choices - whether I agree with them or not.

Not sure why 99 "seems high" to Baba, but there're over 5000 people on it...

99 was in response to the number Meto put out with how many active volunteers.
And yes that actual number would seem high as to visibility of  actual volunteers through out
the bases.

btw any idea of the 5,000 on the WCDFA page are actual f/a's ?

Thanks Baba... From what I've seen and asked around that does seem small when you listen to all the posters here.
P.s. I checked out that WCDFA site and can see why you would spend only a short time there.

Happy Holidays to everyone

To those of us (myself included 🙂 )  be safe if youre working today
