A big one.

IIRC, they eclipse us in year 2, and go to a max accrual of 270 hrs./year...
wow.

but don't they have to prove they are sick? or is it like PPT where you can basically use it as you want?

No the 401 match is the same. What you are confused is the contribution to the retirement that goes into the 401. That is for the retirement that wasn't frozen but given to the pbgc....which is at risk to be reduced no matter what the pbgc claims. That medical option that you reference is so expensive that no one uses it. It is a hold over from long ago and basically a red herring of a plans. Same number of vacation weeks.. Sick leave has higher NUMBERS. I can't call in sick for one day of a six day trip so if sick it is charged on the days and hour I will miss while sick.

I dont think any other group at DL gets a 12% contribution per your CBA 26-13.

And the non-union folks in inflight and ACS had their pension frozen.

I don't comprehend how you try to compare my job and pay to anyone other then some one that does the same job.My compensation is compared to other pilot groups not anyone else. We are hiring PILOTS you should apply ..oh wait your an organizer
P.s. My pension was Terminated not frozen.

And US IAM had them terminated and replaced with the pathetic IAMNPF that is unlivable.

Wrong again.

The US/IAM M&R pension was terminated in chapter 11 part two along with the Fleet Service's and CSA's frozen pension were all terminated in court.

The IAM didnt agree to a pension termination at all.

Keep up the lies.

And everyone had their terminated pensions replaced with a DCP provided by US Airways.

And this conversation is about DL and their retirement options, not what happened at US Airways, but since you hate the IAM, you cant resist to post lies and misinformation once again.

You are the one with zero credibility and you have no one to blame except yourself.

Keep up spreading lies and misinformation.

Not saying your IAM terminated them, I am saying the plans for IAM represented employees at USAIR were terminated. So we are in agreement.

So do the IAM activists plan to free ride on DL nonrev to get there? What about people from other carriers involved with the campaign? Will they free ride on their airlines too?

The IAM didnt agree to a pension termination, nor did the members of the frozen non-management plan that covered Fleet, CSA, and Res which was frozen in 1992 when they were all non-union, that plan was terminated in bankruptcy part 2, and the pilots had theirs terminated in bankruptcy part one.

And the IAMNPF was not negotiated nor in place in the 2005 final offer CBA.

You posted misinformation once again and I am not in agreement with you, you post lies all the time.

Will the IAM negotiate IAMNPF for the DL F/As like they say they will do for the alliance?

...Likewise, if we don't want to burn our PPT time for an illness, we now have to go 7 days in order to use our CTB...

Our group's pay (not necessarily total compensation) is pegged to a peer group that conveniently omits carriers like HA & AS. That might not move the needle for me in ACS, but it sure might for IFS.

It's always interesting to me how they tell us we're the best in the industry (and we deliver the metrics to prove it), yet when it comes to pay, we're told to settle for average.

That's a serious disconnect.

The people DL F/A's elect to represent them will push for the items the membership wants.
