WT what YOU FAIL to RECOGNIZE is that EVEN B4 the AA merger US scope was still better than some of the other airlines  including DL   gee I wonder why that is    may be bec DL is not union and can and has done as they please.   Not to mention several cities got hammered last yr by DL     While the IAM at the new AA has insourced work from either carrier depending on the locations    BWI we took over the BTW work   I don't know where AA took over   PHX we took over the ramp work from AA    Go Look At the Scope from 08 and 14    Comprehend

What would you like to know?

If you're asking why there's no DL people on that list, it's because we're not members yet.

Nevertheless: who exactly do you think will be negotiating on your behalf? Hint: it won't be any of those three...

Then if they aren't directly involved, then why are they deserved of my dues money?

Please tell me how great IAM is when they are no more then a bloated bureaucracy?

Please tell me why I should pay dues money to a group that funnels money to political parties i do not endorse.

If you learned how to process what you read, that is the TCU which is affiliated with the IAM, that isnt the leadership of the IAMAW, that was the leaders of the TCU who has it members and collects it dues.

Just like how the AFA and CWA are.

They are paying them just fine, go look over the transcript from the earnings call.

And care to admit you were wrong about US, Scope language and Pay?
no, because I am not wrong.

US scope was better because their employees were paid less.

DL still has its own people at more stations than AA or UA even after the merger.

and we are STILL just talking about the ramp.

And they have zero protection and zero scope, they are employees at will.

And as Dawg would say, tell the whole story, how many stations did DL ramp bring to the merger and how many did NW bring to the merger?

Wow.

Another who needs to be educated on the laws of representation, LM-2, and many other things that are sure to come up from these "new entrants" as the vote nears.

Look for many other "townpete" or spectators to show up here and on any and all social media sites parroting the f&h tactics.

That only means that the widget has some serious concerns with the actual employees having a collective voice with which to discuss QOL etc.

Very telling.

Ok fair enough, same question then with these people (a small sampling of a very long list)

It tells you who they are.

And why are they deserved of my dues money? They aren't co-workers are they? If the union is made of "us", then who are these 9 Vice Presidents lol?

No I get you are devicive and condecending on top of being inaccurate in you arguments. Got the gist.

all that is telling is the double standard the union elite have that they should be able to post whatever they want by as many people as they want but if two people post contrary to the union view, they are obviously the same person who is nothing but a company plant.

no, a whole lot of DL people do care about what happens to the company and they aren't going to allow unions to make sales jobs without checking the real information that goes on.

the only thing you got right is that there will be more and more vocal people and they will ALL be people who have an interest in DL's future.

notably, you chose NOT to be a part of DL and to follow a union down the road to a disastrous walkout that cost the jobs of some of the industry's highest paid 5000 ground workers.

no one is doubting that NW brought stations to the merger. But by your own argument, DL could have closed them years ago - but they haven't.

AA and UA EVEN WITH their supposed great union protections have cut stations while DL is not.

talk and paper means nothing.

A track record means everything. Even someone here said that today.

DL's track record of job protection is far stronger than the IAM or TWU's.

sure.

PIT, CLE, RDU, BNA, SJC, BWI....

and all of those were formerly union hubs.

if the unions actually delivered what they promised, DL would be in trouble.

it is precisely because the unions have done such a poor job of making good on their promises while DL actually has done better than what it promised that the majority of DL people aren't going to trade what they have.
