And if I have been gone from DL so long and know nothing about what is going on, why do you spend so much time trying to discredit me and what I say?

does anyone remember when he was asked to provide a list of all the wrong doings that some posters wanted from him  or even when some folks "schooled" him about DL JV having the highest rev etc   and he got schooled yet he deflected  as typical    he is so badly wrong in a whole lot of areas

that is not what happened. Its was never what happened and it will never be what happened. Only a complete and total idiot would see that as the case. None of this matters because, for the most part DALPAs scope is their scope. Some understand this

Most if not all of theses restrictions are very similar to other Alpa carriers. (76 seats). Reason is so other airline does not have an advantage over DL. This is also because DL really does not want to cede control over their product. Part of why Leo was fired. Comair!

Delta is also adding RJs FWIW. Just signed a deal to add more 76 seaters for G7. Who are the FAs on those

Did you know Delta started the latest round of whipsawing at the the RJ level so EV honest to goodness can't afford to give pay increases because companies like 9E (owned by Delta Air Lines INC.) have cut wages so much?
 

So do you think your coworkers are useless then? Oh course as I said above any of the RJ operators are not apples to apples with Delta.

IAM also has the tightest scope for ramp jobs too.

Dalpa didn't come to DL with the 717 idea it was DL that did that. But they can take credit if you want to give it to them.
Leo was fired. A distinction that no other DL CEO has. Won't see an airplane with his name on it anytime soon.
717 is replacing rj 900/700 .. rj 900/700 are replacing rj200... Thus an increase in DL flying. DL FA's were never going to do any of that rj flying until the 717 . Union or not.
Scope... DL is all about control of their product. Unlike Leo who only looked at the dollar stream. If you don't think DL and Dalpa are in concert on all this you are wrong. Not much "union" in these negotiations.

what carrier has hired the most f/a's over the last three years?
Was it a carrier with Unionized F/A's
or 
Delta?

And what airline has three different pay scales for flight attendants doing the same job?

What airline gives certain flight attendants a 2%,3%, or 4% raise instead of giving them all the same percentage increase?

Its not a unionized airline.

if you think that simply stating something makes it a fact, it is no wonder that the IAM continually comes up short.

IN reality, it is you and dawg and robbed who are calling names. Kev is in a different class.

I have nothing against Kev. He just is an idealist with whom I don't believe in his ideals. Given that his ideals impact the lives of other people I have to speak out.

If Kev's ideals were teaching sports to little kids and helping widows and orphans, I'd nominate him for the highest award in the land.

and I have been harping on the fact that DL is adding jobs for its own people, something that AA and UA's FA contracts aren't doing.

All of the union contracts in the world do nothing if the company keeps shrinking the mainline operation - which is what AA and UA have been doing for years.

AA lived the first year in the honeymoon phase of the merger.

with pilot and FA contracts in hand, unit revenues falling, and pilot and FA costs rising, AA is doing exactly as most of us outside of AA expected AA to do which is to shrink their workforce even if by attrition and shift jobs to regional carriers.

You celebrate double digit increases in pay and think it is a great accomplishment for labor. mgmt. sees those cost increases as costs that have to be paid and which must be matched by higher revenues - which AA is not generating.

in a couple years, we can look back and see who has protected more jobs and who has grown their network.

I am certain that the answer will be strongly in favor of DL and its people.

who will still be making more than AÁ and UA's more unionized workforces.

AA is hiring FAs and the UA and CO have allowed UA FAs to work as CO's FAs as the unions agreed to let them move over until they have a JCBA so no one would get laid off unless they wanted too.
 
Hey you dont work for DL nor AA, nor WN, nor UA, nor US and yet you infect the  WHOLE forum with your cancer.

You really need to return to reality, you left DL you let them pay you off to leave and now you regret it so you sit on a computer as the self appointed cheerleader for DL.

You mean like how Diamondcutter and others have asked to cost out DL's FAs total compensation work rules etc vs AA's?
