Well some of the FAs are getting 3% raise while others get a 4% raise.
 
Wonder what the New AA FAs raise will be.
 
And if you elected your profit sharing to into your 401k this past February, you cant change the early PS payout, it will go into your 401k and you cant get the cash.
 
you can't GRASP that DL has been paying profit sharing at far larger amounts than the pay raises you and your union buds have negotiated and have been doing it for years.

DL employees aren't interested in voting in a union so they can watch their pay go down.

And DL employees ARE getting pay raises ON TOP OF THEIR profit sharing. The profit sharing ALONE exceeds the pay raises the IAM negotiated.

Did you not read that Kev said the expectation is that even with getting part of the profit sharing in October of this year, DL's profit sharing payout in Feb 2015 will still be larger than in this Feb 2014 which already amounted to the equivalent of a month's extra pay?

don't try to argue the point with me. DL employees are the ones that will receive the pay raise and will vote.

it isn't hard to figure out why they have no interest in voting in a union.

try again in 5 years.

The raise they are getting will HELP with the increase of their insurance premiums that are about to go up!!! Plus the timing is great , this only helps AA
 
How many times are you going to post about profit sharing when I and others are asking are about raises.
 
You cant answer it now three times, you keep changing and deflecting the topic.
 
I asked about raises, do I need to go to the store and get a box of crayons and draw you a picture since you obviously cant comprehend the difference between a raise and profit sharing?
 
And is this raise guaranteed?
 
Nope, a lot can happen from now till April.
 
And DL's raise helps the new AA Fleet as it raises the parity review.

I don't really care what you post about pay raises vs. profit sharing.

DL people love what they are getting and don't really care what box it comes in.

Also doesn't change that DL profit sharing has consistently surpassed pay raises at other airlines while DL people have also been receiving raises.

Don't argue with me.... get mad at DL employees who won't fall for your union sales job which would only result in cuts in their total compensation.

increased medical costs will amount to less than 2% of profit sharing for the average employee - so, strike out on that argument.

swamt can't stand that DL employees are getting pay raises and increased profit sharing while WN employees are stuck in neutral.

Yeah, DL's tactics are helping competitors' employees - mostly the frustration of WN employees.

If DL's raises help AA employees, that's great. Nice that AA employees can latch on to the progress that DL employees have achieved WITHOUT a UNION.

Kev   if  and that's a big IF  the elections to be union or not is to be called very shortly  that cld very well be the reason why DL is choosing to pay out PS and raise    which in my own eyes can see they are either trying to buy their way to the employees not to be union and that they will be "cared for" by DL mgmt.  or  somethin' else.    Ive seen that before    at EN   they did the same if not similar tatics too

the vote is a maybe it will, maybe it won't.

the profit sharing and pay raises are happening.

DL employees don't need a union and they certainly don't need USeless employees past and present trying to convince them that they are better off with a union.

How's that grievance with the company coming?

btw, if you read the chart you just posted it shows that the rates are based on 9/18/2014 so they don't even include today's announcements.

what you can't grasp is that DL has a formula that allows them to pay their employees better than their legacy peers and even the LCCs such as WN (which really isn't an LCC anymore) is finding it impossible to keep up with the compensation DL employees are getting.

as in any democracy, DL employees vote with their pocketbook which is full while the unions are scraping around for dust bunnies.
 
Announcing a raise over 6 months in advance of the intended date, LMFAO. I'm guessing the Delta suits are throwing buckets of sweat out the windows of corporate in anticipation of losing the battle.

Talk about an act of desperation.
 
WeAA  I believe you are correct sir... in the eyes of mgmt.  Desperate times calls for Desperate measures....   Its the same or similar stunts that EN did during my 3 yrs there.
