US ramp just got a 9,53% raise DL is getting 3%-4% raise.

I'm sure that a certain someone will spin the narrative as to why of course when it suits his particular agenda but let's see.

Transport Workers Union represented SWA ramp workers currently make TOP pay $26.35, have an 8.3% 401k match and Profit Sharing. They have been at that TOS rate since July 2010. 

So for the last 5 years and still to this day UNION represented SWA are doing better than their NON UNION counterparts at DL. Even if DL employees were one day to go ahead of their counterparts, how many YEARS would it take to make up the difference in wages that has been the case so far?

Oh and on top of that they have all that wonderful CONTRACT language and protection under the Railway Labor Act. 😀
 
no one has argued that WN employees don't make more... but the fact that they are now approaching 5 years without a raise and they are continuously engaged in public demonstrations against their employer including regarding their work volume and staffing speaks volumes about who has it better off.

WN is not increasing the salaries of their people anywhere close to what the legacies are doing and WN's profit sharing was eclipsed by DL's on a percentage basis.

and again you can only make those claims when you exclude profit sharing. DL profit sharing is betting 16.5% profit sharing PLUS a 3-4% raise.

when even AA mgmt. says profits should be very healthy in 2015, no one can legitimately defend a 10% raise for US employees compared to a 20% increase in compensation for DL employees. Given that DL's profit sharing doubled in the last year, the actual rate of increase over last year is still larger than for US employees.

so, no, US employees are far short of their peers at DL and WN ramp employees are in complete salary stagnation.
 
Aw damn. So even though SWA UNION members 5 YEARS AND STILL TO THIS DAY have been making MORE than their NON UNION counterparts over at DL they are not better off.

Oh what kind of fool am I? To even remotely try to assume that those poor souls stuck with making TOP of the industry wages for so long, no "Ready Reserves" and never having a layoff in the airlines history are better off.

Oh how I bet they all just wish they were employed by Delta rather than have to bear the humiliation that is their particular lot in life? 

They have been engaging in public demonstrations against their employer? How dare they! Well thank the flying spaghetti monster that Delta people are not allowed to do anything like that without having their names put on that black list. Kip Hedges was made a fine example as well he should have been for speaking out.

Kev hates Delta? Could have fooled me. I'm pretty sure that I have seen him write quite a few nice things about the company he works for in the past? Maybe I need to change the prescription on my glasses?

keep saying how profit sharing isn't guaranteed.... DL employees gained the largest profit sharing in the industry and far larger than what WN employees earned.

when DL employees' total compensation including profit sharing is $15K per year less than their peers at DL, a statistic that comes DIRECTLY from AA and DL's financial statements, then all of the union propaganda about what AA unions have obtained is nothing but unsubstantiated rubbish.

Profit sharing isn't guaranteed. Thats the point of profitsharing 
 
If Delta wanted to guarantee profit sharing they would give us a raise in base pay and dump the profit sharing.

and why don't you use your same logic to talk about WN. You somehow don't believe that DL can be as profitable as it is but you think Wn can. - or at least you ignore WN in your arguments.

Profit sharing isn't guaranteed for WN either
 
Of course the much higher base rates are........  
 
and yet WN employees have ENORMOUS retirement accounts because of profit sharing and they have gotten it every year for a long, long time.

"it isn't guaranteed" is simply a copy out for those who aren't willing to believe that their company is run well enough to compete with the best in the business and to the benefit of their employees - which you have repeatedly said you can't do
