All the DL reps will be elected by DL FAs.

If you didnt care, you wouldnt keep posting against them organizing.

So ALPA isnt about Money, Power and Goons?

I took a look at it, it's all lies he posted!
No it's not.

One is the preamble to a CBA, and the other used to be the introduction to the HRPM before "Project Ignite." You can now find that same language in "The Way We Fly," and elsewhere.

But you already knew that, right?

He probably didnt know, he is a few cans short of a six pack.

He doesnt research nor verify what he posts, over in the Water Cooler, he posted an article and took a stand, and didnt even read it, and he was 100% wrong and his own article showed that, if he would have read what he posted he would know he made a fool of himself once again.

True to form you can't engage in a conversation without belittling other people
Sounds like it is not an accurate citation and one that you can't verify

However I can

How do you know what is in DL's internal documents?
Really? It is not hard at all to get copies of things like that.

How in the hell do you think news agencies get a hold of company memos time and time again?

but as long as some are determined to be the self-appointed spokespeople for a perfectly competent group of employees who have their own voices, then others of us will find time in our schedules to "waste" as well.
I agree so could please stop talking for Delta employees all the time?

There is a reason there are only about 3 or 4 people who post here any longer.

This Delta forum is an entire wasteland of locked threads from projecting garbage. Whenever the moderators finally decide to take out the garbage, the real airline people will resume engagement here... (maybe).
I hope it does. I would love to have some more people around here who know what they are talking about.

southwind, meto, and I all get that we, you, and Kev don't have a vote in the FA representation process and are happy to leave it to those who will decide.

You cannot.

If Kev wants to talk about what is going on for his workgroup, fine.

Don't call it a democratic or grassroots effort if you are involved.

If the union proposition is so great, then DL's own people in the affected work areas will figure that out all by themselves.
Southwind and Meto sure

You? no chance in hell.

you, southwind, and meto will not get to vote in any of the active representation campaigns at DL including the FA campaign . and the same is true for 700.

I've never said I speak for all DL employees.

Perhaps you could find a quote that says it if you believe otherwise.

and external sources get access to DL and other company's documents almost entirely thru DL employees.... the same way that the IAM does. Copying a document that may be correct - and could just as much have been altered doesn't give the outsider any knowledge regarding the subject... they just cut and paste.

No you haven't said it, you just do it.

then fly off the wall when they do something differently. Just look at your reaction to the failed pilot TA or when any group has called a union vote. The butt hurt starts flowing like water.

Ready Reserve Employees-

Delta has yet to announce the 2016 wage adjustments but this is a hypothetical senario to show how devastating a shell game would be if it includes a reduction of profit sharing. This senario shows the effect if Delta was to implement a pay increase of 7% for 2016 while reducing profit sharing payout from 20% to 10% on all profits up to six billion dollars.

Our 2015 Ready Reserve pay scale is $11.64. If Delta offers a 7% wage increase, the 2016 RR pay scale would go up to $12.45. But what is the effect if Delta were to reduce our profit sharing as a stipulation of that raise? According to pilots on social media, the reduction of profit sharing would equate a to 5.74% wage reduction. For RR, that would reduce the core cost by $0.71 and thereby reducing the 2016 RR pay scale equivalent from $12.45 down to $11.74.

This 2016 adjusted pay scale that includes the 7% wage increase would only equate to a $0.10 core cost increase for RR's when profit sharing is accounted for. We should remember that cost of living increase each year is at least 2%. This would take another $0.24 of RR wages to cover the cost of living increase. Now the adjusted 2016 core cost wage would be down to the equivalent of $11.50 (that's less than RR's make today).

We're making record profits and shouldn't feel guilty expecting Delta to honor the current PS payout. Let's avoid shell games from being played with our wages. Sign those union cards and let's gain oversight of our core cost making sure it increases reflecting our hard work and dedication.

From a current DL Ramp Employee

From the same employee

An employee told one of our organizers that he'd sign a union card if Delta ever reduced his wages. Until then, he's happy with the pay increases that Delta has offered.
Our Focus is on Core Cost

If Delta comes to employees with a new compensation package that includes a pay increase of 7%, but reduces our profit sharing payout from 20% to 10% on all profits up to six billion dollars, would you celebrate it?

Our 2015 top pay scale is $24.82. If Delta offers a 7% wage increase, our 2016 pay scale would go to $26.55. Pretty nice pay raise right? But what is the effect if Delta were to reduce our profit sharing as a stipulation of that raise? According to pilots on social media, the reduction of profit sharing would equate a to 5.74% wage reduction. For us, that would reduce our core cost by $1.52 and thereby reducing our 2016 pay scale equivalent from $26.55 down to $25.03.

This 2016 adjusted pay scale that includes the 7% wage increase would only equate to a $0.21 core cost increase for us when profit sharing is accounted for. We should remember that cost of living increase each year is at least 2%. This would take another $0.50 of our wages to cover the cost of living increase. Now our adjusted 2016 core cost wage would be down to the equivalent of $24.53 (that's less than we make now). If Delta chooses to pass on added medical expenses on to employees in 2016 like the have in the past, that would negatively effect our core cost even further.

We're making record profits and shouldn't feel guilty expecting Delta to honor the current PS payout. Let's avoid shell games from being played with our wages. Sign those union cards and let's gain oversight of our core cost making sure it increases reflecting our hard work and dedication.

hypothetical and without any factual basis; just a bunch of strung together rumors.

A meteor could hit the OCC too.
