Grassroots Efforts at DL for ACS and FAs, no personal attacks.

and nobody has asked anyone to feel guilty about their profit sharing.

It is a FACT that DL employees enjoy the richest profit sharing in the history of the airline industry.

DL hasn't cut the amount of profit sharing or total compensation of its employees as the company itself has enjoyed unprecedented success. That is a FACT.

While other airlines have given their employees far fewer and/or smaller increases in total compensation - or are stuck in stalled negotiations, DL employees have led the industry in increases in compensation.

DL employees ARE running an outstanding operation. DL is running an outstanding business. DL's market cap premium over the industry is higher than it has been since the big 3 completed the legal mergers....

DL is doing well and its employees are enjoying in the company's success more so than at any other airline- exactly as it should be. There is no evidence that DL's successful employee strategy of above average compensation for above average performance will change.

Math 101.

10% is less than 15%.

$55 million in savings that DL didn't payout to its employees, who are employees at will.

Pilots got a 20% raise from June of 2012 till December of 2014 while non-union ACS got 2%-8% in the same time frame depending on which of the several pay scales DL has for people doing the same job, and let's not start on the 40% ready reserve that DL only pays about $12 an hour with no benefits, taking away full time and part time positions that have benefits.

And don't get me started on deltas high cost low coverage medical, delta's medical sucks, plenty of horror stories out there. There is no DL family it's a business.

Good analysis - DL has the richest PS - now it's clear why they want to reduce it

I get the math.

what you don't get that everyone else seems to be able to admit is that DL employees have the richest profit sharing... it has value and it should be considered in compensation comparisons.

all Dl was trying to do with the pilots was move part of the profit sharing into regular compensation - there was nothing anywhere that showed the company was intending to reduce total compensation.

given that DL has said nothing about what it will do with non-pilot compensation, it is only union propaganda that attempts to argue that DL will reduce total compensation.

but again it is downright laughable how badly the IAM's chief internet salesman spends so much time trying to attack changes to DL's profit sharing when he has spent so much time arguing that PS shouldn't be considered in compensation comparisons.

Except he will never admit DL does anything wrong nor will he ever stay on topic.

Ironic my information comes from actual DL employees, not someone who isn't a DL employee.

And ps WF, I m not employed by the IAM nor compensated ffrom anyone

Unlike you who has a unhealthy obsession with his former employer, and is the self-appointed spokesperson for all DL employees.

your information COMES FROM.... they are MORE THAN capable of speaking for themselves without you having to serve as the amplifier and filter.

It is funny how you find unhealthy obsessions with someone who actually gets a paycheck and has benefits from DL but you think you have to be involved in a process despite the fact that you have absolutely no interest in the matter.

Let DL people carry the discussion and make the decisions without your input and involvement. Not only is Kev a whole lot smarter than you but he is a very capable communicator.

oh, and this would be a good time to remind you about your own thread title that includes "no personal attacks"

I think it's hilarious how union peeps use PS and wage increases depending on which battle they are trying to fight!
One minute they're saying I'd rather see the money in my check vs. getting a once a year PS check, while the next they whine about seeing a wage increase in their check , then b!tch because their PS is lower.
Make up your minds and stick to it!

Many DL employees are worried about the ramifications of posting pro union information as DL had retaliated against pro Union employees

there is a deflection and a load of misinformation if ever there was one. Many? doubt it? a couple percent, maybe. DAL has 80K employees.

Touché, southwind.

and it is that kind of manipulation that is the reason why DL employees ensured that 20K PMNW union membership cards were rendered worthless and haven't been and won't be replaced.

could of sworn that retaliation against pro union employees by a major corporation  is illegal    I guess in one airline's case they can do as they see fit    pretty dam pathetic and sad
