Well, I guess it's a good thing that I don't really give a sh!t what you believe!

Works for me because of people like you!

Is that the same IAM that crossed AMFA's picket line?

Boy that's a lot of anger you're showing there? I hope Delta doesn't have a time bomb waiting to blow with you?

It's ok man. Take it easy.

BTW Southwind I'm here and in other places because my company and my profession has to compete against all of those Ready Reserves that DL keeps bringing in. And I'm hearing that those numbers are growing even larger.

But I'm sure you would prefer that eventually the ramp has nothing but RR and low wage people humping those bags. More money in the company coffers I bet you're thinking might trickle on down to you?

I'm sure you couldn't give a rats ass about Kev and the people who still make more. They're a liability to you getting even more yourself I'm sure in your mind.

No anger here! In fact tomorrow I will be even happier being employed at DL!
You asked a question, I answered it, you said you didn't believe me and I said I could care less what you believe....accept it or not, doesn't matter to me.

Ready Reserve has made it was to maintenance at DL and I also heard they are using DGS mechanics in the hangar.

Hey Dawg ever heard of deregulation, oil speculators, Internet pricing, global recesaion, Sept 11, Government interferance, Low cost carriers, SARS, lobbyists, terrorism, plane crashes, stupid business decisions, stupid people decisions. (Leaving a lot out I'm sure) oh Bankruptcy laws, corporate raiders (Lorenzo, Icahn, Trump)

One BIG disease with lots and lots of symptoms.
yeah I have? whats your point?

Nevermind. Let's just blame those horrible industrial Unions shall we.
Question, How much is your company making?

APFA and APA have a contract. Do you?

Oh thats right, your unions have been screwing you over to save as much dues money as they can.

So who can they blame at DL for Leadership 7.5 and their bankruptcy filing since they only have to negotiate with the pilots and dispatchers?

And Dawg, I'm gonna call you out, you praise the IAM at NW for bringing ok the ramp stations to the merger whe DL only brought 12, so explain that please.
what am I explaining? I have been talking about my craft. Ramp isn't my craft.

having said that yes the IAM brought in a lot of stations to Delta, but I wouldn't ever use Delta ramp as a bench mark for comparison.
I would say United but IAM pucked that one up already........

Weren't  the DL pilots bailing taking their retirments at an alarming rate so much so that  DL had offer to rehire them
pretty sure all of the airlines had a mass exit if they were talking about dumping the pension on the government.

Small note
RR is at DTO but AFAIK its only in stores.

and We have 3-5 vendors who bring in contractors. Not all are DGS. (and in MOST cases DGS would be the one i have the least of a problem with. The majority are retired guys who come back via DGS. Its a pretty sweet deal for them.)

14.5%. I'm assuming either a raise or Profit Sharing? Well congratulations if it's confirmed tomorrow? (I prefer my information in writing from the source personally)

My ramp manager asked me last year how much would I need to cross over? I told him "You can't afford me" He said "Try me" Ok I said 50%. The look on his face alone was priceless. My response was "See I told you you couldn't afford me"

I wouldn't have taken the job anyway. Some things are more valuable to me than MONEY.

Dawg  retired DL employees or not, if they are not DL employees its not a good thing

It always amazes me how people project conditions that they experience to something that they have no first hand knowledge of. My experience with DGS is the same. Most of the instructors in the sim dept are DGS = retired DL pilots. Not seniority pilots. That equals that equals no bias just doing a job and less jeopardy. By the way it's a great deal for those guys.

I don't know if I would say having some contractors for flexing is a bad thing, but I would like to see a hard cap put on it.(no more than 25) I would also like it to be 100% retired Delta people.
120-150 contractors is horse s**t though.

Yep! There are a lot of people in the world, who think they are worth more than they actually are!

...One of the worst kept secrets in awhile- which I imagine was intentional?

I just hope it doesn't mean a shoe dropping somewhere while we're all busy celebrating...

As for DGS, they're on the gates next to me- it can be an interesting show...
