Grassroots Efforts at DL for ACS and FAs, no personal attacks.

and the worst part for them is that DL employees STILL will have industry leading profit sharing ON TOP OF a massive pay raise.

meh

here is an article showing that AA pilots are increasingly upset with the USAir style cost-cutting and hold DL up as an example of how to merge an airline and to motivate its people. This just days after Laura Glading's resignation because of unhappy AA FAs.

Both groups have JCBAs and no profit sharing.

http://www.thestreet.com/story/13312955/1/american-air-has-myopic-obsession-with-cost-cuts-top-pilot-says.html

In his article, Wilson noted that "United Airlines and Delta Air Lines offer two distinctly different case studies in how to undertake an airline merger. The former has become exhibit A in how not to execute a successful merger. Unfortunately, American Airlines management seems to be taking a United Airlines-like approach, at least in the early stages.

He also noted that Delta (DAL - Get Report) offers profit-sharing to its employees, while American has decided not to.

indeed you and ALL of your DL peers do and APA leadership recognizes why DL's everyone work together mindset is working to put dough and lots of it in DL and DL people's pockets.

from the article above.

"Just as APA has had to rapidly adapt to representing a much larger group of pilots, management must adapt to running the world's largest airline in order to compete effectively with Delta Air Lines," he said. "Cutting things to the bone will not generate a passenger migration from Delta Air Lines to American Airlines.

notable that a union leader recognizes that AA must compete effectively with a smaller, less unionized airline and that AA needs to win back revenue which DL has captured.

AA people still don't have profit sharing in JCBAs which leaves them behind DL people in total compensation at a time when the airline industry is generating record profits and there are no signs that is going to change in the future.

Without us, there is no company. It's symbiotic that way...

meh. I feel like Southwind would be just happy with DGSing over everyone below him.

Wt and pete would sacrifice their young if the company told them too.

no employees no revenue.

Its sad you think so little of yourself.

Oh and FYI, you guys suck at hashtags.

you aren't carrying some of the dissident pilots' water can very well. They are convinced that DL will simply outsource and JV DL's route system away = which of course doesn't require employees.

Doesn't explain why DL is bringing airplanes out of the desert but there are indeed DL employees who are convinced that DL doesn't want to grow its own airline but instead invest in others - which can be done without DL employees and yet generates revenue.

and you clearly missed the point that ALL airlines have employees and revenue; the difference is that DL shares the highest percentage of its profits while some of its peers share NONE as soon as the executives at those companies can get it eliminated from labor contracts that already have it.

it's too bad that we can't agree on this issue like we do on HND. I'll buy you half of a beer... the bottom half.

Please give a single tail number of an aircraft that has been pulled from the desert that will fly on routes covered by a JV please.

Guess its a good thing I don't care how you feel and if you believe you know everything about someone from a few post's on a forum...I've got some swamp land...

The only reason I posted a hashtag, which I believe hashtags are BS to begin with, is because some on these boards, think without them them company would fold and wanted to make sure they knew, yes employees generate revenue, but without the COMPANY infrastructure, buildings, hangers, insurance, capital and all the other things needed to run a business, the employees would not have a place to "Generate Revenue"!

Seniority! It's all you've got at DL whether you like it or not! And yes I've been bumped and close to being laid off and I'm not gullible enough to believe it couldn't happen again,!

Now, I'll ask again, when's the FA/Ramp vote?

wow, just wow, Kevin.

so how is your salary determined and how are your shifts determined?

you don't realize that DL's ENTIRE N. America system that touches a TATL flight is covered under the AF/KL JV?

And there are indeed 767s that have been pulled in and out of the desert over the past couple years that fly TATL missions.
