Gee we said that at AA with AMFA. Your response was the same we gave you at the AA boards. What goes around, comes around. Based on your past replies on a similar senerio I say there will be no vote. Not enough cards. That's what you told us about AMFA.700UW said:Why do you care?
You aren't voting.
And the vote will be when there is enough cards.

The only reason I posted a hashtag, which I believe hashtags are BS to begin with, is because some on these boards, think without them them company would fold and wanted to make sure they knew, yes employees generate revenue, but without the COMPANY infrastructure, buildings, hangers, insurance, capital and all the other things needed to run a business, the employees would not have a place to "Generate Revenue"!
Seniority! It's all you've got at DL whether you like it or not! And yes I've been bumped and close to being laid off and I'm not gullible enough to believe it couldn't happen again,!
Now, I'll ask again, when's the FA/Ramp vote?
Haven't you heard? Delta was able to buy the unions out again. Every single time there is a card drive on Delta property and gets to a point of some momentum, along comes Delta and offers the employees high % raises in order to keep the unions out, it has worked every time. I say take the 14.5% increase and STILL bring the unions into Delta it would be a win-win-win for all...southwind said:Sorry. So when's the vote?
Or it could mirror whats happening at other airlines currently, after years without a contract, frozen pay, etc., the union comes back with nothing.Kev3188 said:Yes it would.

Right Kev? Then it's all our fault because we elected useless Union reps.
Pass
Game set and match!WorldTraveler said:you don't really want to go there, robbed, unless you can explain why US goes with power by the hour (outsourced) engine maintenance and why AA's passenger service union JUST agreed to outsource more work.Unions have no better track record for protecting work and we could go on for days and daysYOUR contract doesn't cover AA either. get back with us when there is a JCBA.
Like at Allegiant, after 5 years...nothing.700UW said:Years without a contract?
You are truly ignorant and clueless.
Contracts in the airline industry don't expire, they become amendable.
How was that 33% cut in your PS two years ago?
Did you negotiate that?
Frozen pay?
Funny the IAM CBAs all contained raise provisions after the amendable dates at US.
And there is way more to a CBA than just pay.
