Grassroots Efforts at DL for ACS and FAs, no personal attacks.

You and Kev paint the picture that DL is at war with their employees. Guess you don't remember NW was the airline that wanted to reduce fleet and passenger service to two stations. Didn't NWA want to outsource 75% of international flight attendant work (quote from AFA organizer-trying to dig up the video). While the IAM got taken to the cleaners in 2006 and you lost many stations it's not that DL is out to "get" you guys. DL wants to run a smooth operation and be a good place to work and act responsibly for all stakeholders.

And correct my only affiliation to DL is a Platinum Medallion, I am not connected or affiliated in any way, shape or form.

Josh PMUS saw the disastrous deal at UA hence thats why we got a better deal If DL goes union (n i sure hope n wish they do) id say then they wld most likely get a better deal its rather pathetically sad what DL is doing and those folks have Very Lit recourse if any

Yes Robbed but you likely wouldn't have gotten that deal on a standalone basis had the merger not gone through. 700 will say the section six was focused on US as the fifth larger carrier but no way they would have kept all those stations without the merger. They are waiting to align scope after the JCBA. You see TWU taking over US work handled by vendors at AUS, SJU, and STL they will negotiate new scope in the JCBA.

Josh

That cld be but remember the old us b4 the merger was raking in millions too esp thanks to the bag fees on the other hand iam is picking up work in a nbr of aa stations we are moving to the C pier Nov 4th and then commencing work w the AA metal Dec 8th

what is pathetically sad is that you mindlessly repeat the same thing over and over and over again.

I would hardly expect you of all people to grasp the concept of numbers but DOT data shows that DL's airport personnel made 25% more than DL employee JUST IN SALARY in 2013.

DL spent more on benefits for its employees than either AA or US did.

the simple fact is that DL employees are far from the mistreated lambs that you want to make them out to be.

they make far more per employee than you or your AA/US peers will see this year, just like they have for years in the past.

The only view I align with then is that the IAMAW is a weak sell out union. As nauseating as their work is they come down pretty hard in the IAM especially following Boeing 777X "vote". They also wrote pretty harsh about IAM busting AMFA.

Josh

They did.

Don't be surprised when others here use that same group to make a point against your anti union/RTW agenda.

Dawg the UA IAM agreement is now the industry standard and unions at other carriers and DL need to remain competitive. The CWA is concerned about that agreement and it's difficult to bargain against.

Josh
WE set a very bad standard with our contract. But the "Association" can rectify and make sure that the AA/UA contract will be superior.  That's the general idea of the two teaming up.

Look mr dl professor whats more pathetic and even more sad is the fact u ram all the goodie bs dl does and slam all the other airlines for doing similar so button it up

Wonder how many stations DL will now outsource, that were protected by the CBA, there will be layoffs.

My guess: Hubs, and a few gateways stay (ie BOS, LGA, LAX, and the like). The rest? Toast w/in 18-24 mos.
Wrong been nearly four years and all 37 stations are alive and well!

Hopefully but I personally don't see the alliance as a positive think especially for AA-TWU employees. The recent IAM agreement is just a place holder and had the merger not proceeded no way they would have maintained the same scope. This is just a placeholder for the joint agreement. AA TWU is picking up USAIR work at AUS, SJU, and STL effective November 1 the vendors at those locations are leaving. Similarly the IAM is picking up AA work at a handful of cities.

Wow that's harsh. Is this representative of the labor movement and "grassroots" activists at DL?

Josh

Just wait 'til you see them at the voting booth!
