Also not what I asking. When was the last time he worked the line? I wonder what the implications of the alliance are for him and his trustee position with 141.

Tell us more about how that directly ties in with either active drive at DL...

Surely you're not merely trying to derail the topic?

Ya know, I think it's really nice that DL hires special needs people.
Wow that's harsh. Is this representative of the labor movement and "grassroots" activists at DL?

Josh

Excellent attempt at framing. You're getting better.

Are you representative of all the "union avoidance" shadowmen?

Ashkenazi Jews?

Venezuelans?

Residents of MIA?

If only I would be so lucky to land of one of those jobs. Everyday would be a pleasure.

Kev,
if you can't win on the merits of your arguments, cutting someone else down won't change anything - esp. someone whose fortunes rise and fall with yours.

I would strongly bet that southwind will take home a bigger piece of the profit sharing pie than you will.

thanks for taking the high road - something you have correctly challenged me to do in the past.

Except in this case I'm not making an argument; I'm posting an opinion.

Of course Southwind will-or at least should-take home more. Not only is his base rate higher than mine, he works "overtime out the a$$" (his words, not mine, BTW), even as people in the TOC were being displaced.

He'd do well do remember we're all on the same team. We likely won't see any movement there until RW radio starts pushing that idea. I'm not holding my breath.

Keep reaching for the stars, shadowman.
Absent my presence and involvement there is already enough in play-the UA agreement, IAM-TWU alliance,
industry wide push towards outsourcing, push for contracts at WN to "reflect the current reality", not to mention right to work laws and Republican majority regaining control. It's fun to stand by and watch.

Why is it your position that people shouldn't work overtime? All the agents I know work overtime at every opportunity they get. People do what is best for themselves, and don't cover themselves up as trade unionists thinking its some noble act to refuse OT after a reduction.
