Well look here! The guy who doesn't represent the IAM or works at DL , that started this thread stating and I quote "No Personal Attacks" has resorted to.....ready.....PERSONAL ATTACKS.
Doesn't surprise me though. I'm sure somewhere in the IAM's "Corporate Thug Handbook" it states "When up against the ropes, attack the person, not the message.

I reckon since the personal attacks have started, maybe it's time for the mods to shut down yet another of 700's futile attempts to unionize a company he has nothing to do with!

Unions being stupid don't help the cause. Doesn't matter if it was AFA, APFA, TWU, IBT, IAM etc. etc.

sorry to hear of the presumably early loss of your mother, 700.

APFA's loss shows the distrust that union leadership has even with its rank and file members.

no one who can look at the situation with any kind of objectivity can believe that there are AA FAs who thought they could do better than the proposed contract that was on the table esp. given the language that was clear.

Perhaps the problem was calling it industry leading when it was clear that WN's contract and DL's scale and profit sharing were both high enough to render invalid APFA's claim to an "industry leading" contract.

APFA members didn't believe it or were seriously deluded into thinking they could have much more.

the disconnect between union leadership and APFA members is stunning and absolutely speaks to the challenge that unions have in winning new elections.
