Maybe someone should start a poll to see if we can remove him from this site as well? I really can't understand why the mods tolerate someone that causes so much derision and pesters so many topics with his inane commentaries?

Is it because he brings in maybe hits to the website that makes advertisers happy? Is he compensated for his participation on this board? I just don't understand?

I believe in the free market; you and others do not. If you are half as convincing as you think you are, you should have no trouble defending your positions.

it is preicsely because I offer perspectives that you don't want to hear that you want me gone.

not happening. put your big boy pants on and welcome to the real world.

your perspective is nothing more than all pro dl bs crap  and nothing more than negative crap that AA UA and WN all do.  that's part of the reason why youre not well liked on here.

Oh NO NO NO NO you are a liar totally and completely. Everything is about complete spin with you to support whatever message you are compelled to deliver. You NEVER admit you are wrong about anything. So again either you are paid or you are a self obsessive ego maniac puppet for your master Delta Airlines and your need to TRY to prove your point and gain just a small sliver of an ounce of credibility.

Look at all of your RED marks. You have ZERO credibility.

You would not have so many reds if you were credible even if people thought you were obnoxious. It just wouldn't be.

I have red marks because I am not afraid to swim in a sea of sharks.

guess what the red arrows have done nothing to stop me... they in fact embolden me... but you and others aren't smart enough to figure that out.

I am credible because I have accurately spoken to one issue after another in the industry. No one on here or any other aviation chat site has even come close.

I'm not going any where. learn to live in a world of competitive ideas.

if unions really do their job, you should have no problem pushing your cause.

The track record of unions in the America is not something I influenced or determined. Americans themselves have ditched unions by the millions over the past several decades.

I'd suggest if you really care about it and want to change it, quit worrying about someone reminding you of how bad unions have been at retaining members and fix the problem.

Just don't expect DL employees to bail out years of incompetence by airline union leaders.

Wow you are sick!!! I think it's time his parishioners know his sick obsession and his handling of truths!!!!

feel free to call it sick if you want....

instead why don't you focus on the fact that I accurately have spoken about AA's decline in NYC, it's bankruptcy, and now its revenue performance as a result of new competition in N. Texas, S. Florida, NYC and WAS, its inability to make Asia profitable.

I said that WN would pull down ATL instead of DL caving at WN's as so many here predicted.

I said 8 years ago that DL employees would remain non-union and they voted down one union after another including 5 losses for the IAM.

and that is just a sampler of subjects I have spoken about to the great consternation of people here

so you can put whatever little marks next to my name that make you happy.

the evidence is overwhelming that I know what I am talking about.

I don't have any delusions about winning brownie points on a site that is heavily union supported when I say that DL non-pilot employees have fared better than their unionized peers at other airlines

Guess you didnt read the latest, AA's PRASM is up in NYC, per Scott Kirby and I will take his word over yours any day.

You also stated that the IAM wouldnt get enough cards, how did that work out for you Karnak?

700 I have to remind you now that you are arguing with someone who said this.

The Need To Be Right - What Does It Mean?

The "need to be right" pattern of behavior is an accurate way to get a barometer reading of one's perception of themself. You can size up someone very quickly when you see this kind of behavior. Having a Mr. Right attitude all the time means:

You believe you are superior to others.

You will miss out on opportunities to learn from other people's opinions.

You have to be right to feel important.

Your thinking is linear or one-dimensional. You must work on being more open-minded.

You have a tendency to dominate a conversation, unable to converse properly, listen or have a normal back and forth dialog. You are only fixated on your opinion and cannot wait for the other person to finish speaking to counter their viewpoint. In some cases you may even interrupt the other person to interject what you need to say.

You have to prove you are right as a way of putting others down or criticizing them. It gives you a feeling of winning, which empowers you.

If you are wrong you feel flawed, inferior, or upset.

Your identity is dependent on your need to feel that you are right.

Maybe you or someone you know engages in this kind of behavior. This is not a healthy way to achieve your goals in life. It is a deterrent. You may have sensed resentment from others and not know why. Take a look inside and make the decision for change if you feel you fit into this pattern. Can you even admit to yourself that may be be suffering from the need to be right syndrome?

Inflexible Thinking:

One way many people maintain their Mr./Ms. Right mentality is due to inflexibility in they way they think. When one is inflexible in the way they think, they:

Are unyielding in their opinions and beliefs and are unable to even listen to another point of view. The need to be right overpowers their thinking.

Feel threatened when someone disagrees with their opinion.

Become angry and make personal attacks in an effort to prove the other person wrong and to get them to agree to their point of view.

Become condescending and belittling.

Become extremely critical of others

The inflexible thinker lives life on the defensive, carrying a chip on their shoulder and an ego to back it up. Life becomes stressful and uncomfortable. Friends begin to alienate you. Coworkers try to minimize their contact with you. You are perceived as intolerable and difficult - having to walk on egg shells around you.

In working to achieve your goals in life a degree of flexibility and open-mindedness is required. The ability to hear other people's opinions and examine them in order to see what can be learned gives one an opportunity to grow and excel on their success journey. You can feel more at ease with life and your environment when you are more willing to give up the need to be right attitude. Others will be more comfortable around you and want to be part of your team. You will win friends and influence more people this way. Happiness will soon follow.

How flexible are you in your thinking? How often do allow others to share their opinions and learn something from them? Do you most often have to have things your way?

Give Up the Mr./Ms. Right mentality!

Giving up the need to be right all the time means you must improve your self-image. By working on improving your self-esteem and self-confidence, your insecurities will slowly disappear and your perception of you will undergo a transformation. As you self-image is transformed you will:

Be a happier person. A happier person is a more considerate person. A more considerate person is open to what others have to say. An open mind enables you to learn and grow. A secure person can engage in a back and forth dialog, giving generous input but walking away feeling good even though someone disagrees with their opinions.

Be a better listener, making sure you understand what someone is saying before you disagree with them. Listening not just for your turn to speak but to genuinely hear what others have to say.

Know who you are. A confident, secure people are sure of themselves. There are no doubts about where they fit in or having to prove a point to feel accepted. The matter of importance is the interaction with another and the opportunity to make a positive impact on someone's life. The need to be right attitude is nonexistent in people with a strong sense of self.

Be more willing to engage in a fair dialogue, waiting your turn to speak without feeling the need to dominate the conversation or interrupt when someone else is speaking.

Be unafraid to make mistakes, laughing at yourself when you do rather than feel inferior.

Be more humble. With humility, the ego is lost, which has a tendency to instigate the need to be right.

Give of your time in helping others. Acts of kindness allows us to build strong character. It teaches us how to put others first while feeling the joy of taking that step. It teaches citizenship, compassion, fairness and many characteristics that can help to remove the high need to be right attitude.

Take a step forward today and begin to make the transformation to achieving your optimum by curbing the need to be right.

again, your attempts to attack my character is not new.

others have been trying to do it for years.

Given that I have spoken against AA and US predominantly and those two carriers have the most employees on this site, I am not surprised.

given that I have spoken about the superiority of DL's system of employee relations, I don't expect to get invites for coffee from people on this site.

we still don't know how many cards are really valid - and the bigger question is how DL employees will fare under a unionized environment compared with now.

Kev still can't answer the question of why DL would have any incentive to pay its people well with unions if he correctly has noted that DL has paid a premium for years to keep unions out.

Guess you didnt read the latest, AA's PRASM is up in NYC, per Scott Kirby and I will take his word over yours any day.
of course AA's RASM in NYC is up; they would have to work hard to NOT see the same results other carriers are seeing, esp. since AA has pulled capacity including coach capacity on the JFK transcons.

I'm not trying to attack your character. I'm giving my personal assessment of you as one human being to another and hoping that something get's through.

others have been trying to do it for years.

Why do they have that compulsion? Did you ever think that maybe it was something that YOU bring out of them or maybe because you truly believe you are smarter than any contributor that has ever been a part of this or any Airline forum? You don't see a problem with those thoughts?

Given that I have spoken against AA and US predominantly and those two carriers have the most employees on this site, I am not surprised.

Why are you compelled to speak out against those two companies? Did they do anything to you personally?

given that I have spoken about the superiority of DL's system of employee relations, I don't expect to get invites for coffee from people on this site.

I'd invite you for coffee. Maybe I'd be able to help you?

They'll do fine.

Kev still can't answer the question of why DL would have any incentive to pay its people well with unions if he correctly has noted that DL has paid a premium for years to keep unions out.

They wouldn't have any incentive. But for the 100th time that's not what they're looking for mostly. They're looking for a measure of stability that having a CBA gives them. They want to know exactly what they're rights and the company's rights are in regard to work rules without changes being made at managements whim. Otherwise it's up to both the company and the Aerospace workers Union whether they have a fruitful or a contentious working relationship.

The Union can't offer absolute guarantees but they can negotiate and eventually a CBA will be in place and enforced. It really is about Quality Of Life for those wonderful hard working individuals at the end of the day.
