Problem with your theory is that I have never obtained a cent for anything I write or anything about the labor movement.

You should be so lucky to be able to say that.

I can say that, I have never posted on here in any compensated position or on behalf of the IAM.

Is this your latest regurgitated red herring?

And if you lie about what you lost here, which you do all the time, what you claim has no credibility.

And still waiting for your claim that DL has never made employees vote to cut their pay or jobs, where I clearly posted that they most certainly did with the pilots.

And how about all those stations DL closed and they had no unions?

So Delta closed stations and outsourced that work to third party vendors? So you mean that even the dirt cheap Ready Reserve program wasn't enough in cost savings for them to keep those jobs under a Delta airlines hat?

Let's spell this out one more time shall we. If I'm looking for an airport baggage handler job (Just love me those shiny metal boxes) If I'm going to be paid $12.00 max with no benefits, who cares about what (Advertising) hat they are going to want me to wear. Delta, Menzies, Swissport, Eulen America, Trump shuttle, Walmart. It's ALL the same when I have to write those checks at the end of the month to (Try) and pay my bills.

I'll have ZERO loyalty to the hat and the SECOND that a better (financial) opportunity opens up, that hat won't even get a two weeks notice from me when I throw my ID badge across the desk as I RUN out the door.

Funny you should mention that. Just had a RR leave to go to... Envoy. Why? Because they have benefits. Great worker, too. Definitely our (DL) loss...

I had a kid from Eulen years ago that was bugging me while I was working a flight. His job was to inspect the international arrival bellies. He was coming over while we were offloading and trying to put his nose in where it didn't belong while I was doing my job. I got heavy with him and told him to step away until I was finished. (He complied)

When I was done with my flight I went over to talk to him. I made him understand my position and why I didn't want him near my work. I wound up liking the kid instantly. Of course he asked me if AA was hiring? No they weren't at that time (Before the merger) but I took his phone number and saved it.

When the new AA began to hire again here in MIA I gave the kid (Mike) a call and told him to stop over to my gate when he had a chance. When he stopped by I asked him if he was still interested in working for AA? The kid lit up like a Christmas tree, YES. So I got all of his information and passed it on to people I know.

That was a year ago and now (TWU hat on) he never fails to shake my hand and thank me every time we run into each other.

I don't think he'll ever go back to Eulen America. I think he burned that hat.

Envoy doesn't make what we make at the mainline. But the pay and benefits are ok and it's the stepping stone to hoping over to the big leagues.

What station Kev?

if he likes being a part of a company where the IAM permitted the company to close - what 20? - cities in the past 2 years and where part-time, split shifts are not only permitted but allowed, then I'm glad he is happy.

DL employees aren't interested.
Yeah I agree
I would much rather make half the pay and have no benefits at Delta.

Really? Man its people like YOU that make me wish Delta would have come after your money in BK. You wouldn't last a second in the conditions some of these people are in.

and they voted to eliminate thousands of jobs and then you claim it a victory that the IAM made it possible for agents to bid against outsourcing companies to save their jobs - at a reduced salary.

Delta has not and never will make employees vote to cut their pay or jobs

The list of cities that AA has cut is just as long.

and there is absolutely no assurance that the US scope clause will remain in a JCBA.
No because THEY JUST DO IT.

the only reason Delta has the stations they have now i due to the IAM

pre-merger Delta was at 12 or 13 mainline stations. That is including hubs.

whaaaa? noooo can't be

PROFITSHARING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

there is no JCBA for AA ramp

People can make up their own mind what is more valuable and join a company accordingly. It's not rocket science but it is choice

you are one truly clueless mgmt. clown.  JCBA talks will begin soon as the 2 unions are making progress on coming up with proposel   etc   again since you truly do not know anything about unions or contracts.....just STFU

..that's actually what the majority of DL people have been telling the union movement for years but they don't seem to get the message.

and, no I am for the people and their choice... that's what you and others can't seem to grasp. DL people don't want more unions and have said it over and over and over again.

when you have a JCBA and it is industry leading, let us know. I'm not the least bit afraid to acknowledge if a union gets one - but that just hasn't happened with the pilots or FAs and it is hard to believe that AA will all of a sudden provide it to the other workgroups

Still waiting for you to admit you lied again:

No DL doesnt have to, as the majority of employees are employees at will and have no say in the workplace.

And you lied once again.

So your saying DL didnt use Section 1113 to make DL's pilots to negotiate concessions and vote on them or face abrogation?

http://www.washingto...3101322_pf.html

-- A bankruptcy judge Wednesday approved the $280-million-a-year concessions agreement between Delta Air Lines Inc. and its pilots, rejecting claims by the government's pension insurer that it should receive the compensation the pilots were promised if their pension is terminated.

Do you really think you can post lies and get away with it?

Companies cut and take away jobs, not a union.

So who is to blame at DL ACS when jobs are cut since they are non-union?

DFW, MCO, DTW, MSP, ANC, TPA, CVG, MEM, SLC and others, what union gave those jobs up at DL?
