Read the scope last sentance
EXisting MLE stations will be grandfathered.
Does this mean that places like cle and abe will be contracted out?

The Class numbers are also based on Mainline Flying.
Where does Midatlanic fall? As we know, sometimes it's Express and other Mailine. Union seems to think it is Mainline since it operates under the USAirways Certificate. Waiting for a ruling.

Doesnt look good ,the IAM should have never gave up BTV,DAY,
STL,AVP,MEM THESE should have been mainline express stations.
they gave these up and now its going to spread 21 more mainline cities.
IAM should take lessons from the CWA.

What stations are considered Class I , and what stations are considered Class III, and is Catering gone in the scope clause?

the union should have done a he!! of a better job protecting those of us in the now mainline express as well as the other five cities--btv,day,stl, avp and mem but they failed us just so they can protect the ones in the hubs--phl clt and what is now left of pit. even with this latest contract the iam should have done better but they have failed us and now i have noticed that our dues are up. i make under 12.00 but i am paying 15.25 for a union due a check. very sad

Do you all not understand this is the company's final offer not a tentative agreement?

" Grandfathered", means left as is even though the MLE Classification will no longer be used for other Stations from here on in. The folks in the Class 1 cities will vote the rest of the System out of a job in a second. The Comapny knows they have enough members to carry the vote reguardless what the rest of the cities do. They offered them $17+, which is better than where they are now with the 21% cut in place. The Class 1 stations sold everone else down the River with the last vote, and there is no reason to believe they won't again.

If this so called contact passes Ill tell you I built the empire state building. The Iam should have took the deal of all stations mainline
express and 10 or 12 stations staying mainline. Who is going to vote for this?

CLT-PHL-DCA-BOS-PIT-LGA-FLL-MCO & TPA..........

This is who is going to vote for it ! ! !

How many times do you have to be told this not a Tentative Agreement, it is a last and final offer from the company?

If it gets voted in what is the difference?

From what I can see the only difference is that down the road the IAM will not want to take the blame for it.

If this is the companys offer and not a deal that the IAM got they should be telling the members to vote NO.

Basically its like not having a union at all when the company gets to say "take it or leave it.

Only for them to come back 2 months from now and ask to open contract back up because they feel the need to contract out more
cities and the hubs. The IAM let them get away with it in dec of 2002
with BTV DAY AVP STL MEM AND NOW ITS COMING BACK TO BITE THEM IN THE A$$. NOW 21 MORE CITIES WILL fall due to its own members voting these 4 or 5 cities out of the contract 2 yrs ago.
Dont talk about ALPA eating there young, the IAM is eating there senior
people right out of a job. This thing should of and could of went down
with all stations mainline express and a certain few mainline
the IAM had its chance to keep all these members and failed.

How about having to turn in a time card for Jan 3,4,5. Has the last, best, final offer already kicked in.
