The ND is coming after RR in 2 years. If they use him in PHX now it will be limited. These guys have been bashing RR since they got into office. The GC will have a hard time supporting them under current conditions. Issues are not being addressed in PHX. The attendance has never been dealt with and zero PHX cases have been arbitrated. As far as negotiations go, I said I wasn't interested personally. PHX should be involved and if they don't use anyone from here that would be a mistake. I guess you are one of the 21 ND voters. That's fine but stay out of my business. These guys continue to bash and I will defend.

One of you please read my post before you respond. I said it was fine that she voted for the ND. For the record, we have worked with FO and NH regarding grievances and other issues and if NH is kept in PHX would continue to work with him to resolve any issues. The membership is very important to the GC here in PHX. As far as who bashes who, look at my posts, I am typically defending the GC here in PHX after an attack. I know of a couple of arbitrations that weren't as old as ones we have in PHX. Besides, the ND said they wanted the best grievances first and I have one that would surely be a great case for the Union and PHX. I don't personally ask for anything from the ND then to work with us. I have no political aspirations here other than local issues. I would be interested in helping with arbitration cases only because I think I could help all members system wide. I am ready to bury the infighting for the good of the membership if it is reciprocated.

Give it a rest already. As far as the arbitrations Your track record speaks for itself. You didn't arbitrate when
you were the President of the TWU so what makes you think your qualified to do it now. End of story

Based on personal actions and a lack of experience, I don't think PR will be able to help the ND although it's nice for PR to offer his assistance. Now he's complaining about the idea of RR being the PHX guy??? Sheesh.

Also, PHX isn't entitled to having anyone on the negotiations team.

There are 35 stations and Mr Delaney has been disrespected by the PHX leadership. If RR is moved up then maybe if he works good in a team concept then maybe he can be on the negotiations team. But it's Mr Delaney's sole and exclusive right to put likeminded elected LC on the negotiations team. Mr Delaney takes a good 'sample' from hubs, focus stations, and small stations. IMO, PHX will have do the math a bit better. Their complaints against NH are baseless and their continue pissing and moaning is not going to get them any favors.
Look at UA. IAD is a big hub but pissed and moaned for two years. Should we be surprised that IAD has taken itself out of participation on the negotiations team at UA? I think not. On the other hand, the LC of hubs like ORD, SFO, DEN were key supporters and didn't throw their station under the bus.
Small scale supporters like OMA, BUF, and EWR were also rewarded by becoming a part of the 'small station' sample. Remember, there are 35 US AIRWAYS stations so nobody is entitled, only a 'sample' of stations will be represented.
As far as hubs, I'm thinking PHL, CLT, then throw in the LAS leadership to represent the west by default, LGA, and a few small samples. That's my feeling and I could be wrong but it makes no sense for someone to think that any President of any group, nation, or company will put cabinet members on his staff that are discontents, backbiters, piss & moaners, and cry babies of yesteryear.

Again, my hope is that PHX starts working with all the other stations. On the other hand, if PHX wants to continue listening to Larry and Curly and their piss and moan show then that's fine. Other stations will continue to fill in the gaps.

And as far as all those grievances piled up, it has nothing to do with politics, every station has arbitration cases piled up. So PHX should stop thinking it is above all other stations.

I am not confused because I understand whats going on here, but the members that read here might get confused. Reciprocation is a one way street when the bus has already departed. So if not reciprocated then what? You have to make sense of things before the bus leaves and make decisions accordingly. The bus has
left ! Wait for the next one and lets see what happens. As of now, this ND team is headed in the right direction.
Support for it thru the local level is essential and I don't think the PR ( thats Public Relations ) from PHX is helping anyone.

I concur with your post. I think for those in PHX that monitor this site. They may want
to have a little chat with their GC cause looking at the scoreboard . I see a big fat Zero next to PHX
but then again I do remember the prez saying that the membership really didn't care about unions
and contracts they just wanted the money. So to pluck someone thats thinking LOOONG term and
other essentials to contracts may be hard to find any way.

Read carefully. The VP 1 and 2 did the grievances under our structure. They were BB, JM and JN. Also, I am not saying anything about RR when I say that I am interested in helping in arbitrations. Helping the membership with regards to loss of jobs etc. Not trying to take any jobs or political positions from anyone. I am not interested in the travel associated with those positions.

I have to give you credit !!!!!!! You seem like a real politician! You never answer anybodys questions on here. I notice you play the old ballgame of "always answer a question with another question" and your good at it. But a lot of us on here would like to know. For instance, do you support RR in phx. And why didnt you meet NH when he was in Phx and escort him around. Even if you didnt support him, you always state that your there for the members. Then why not let them here both sides and let them decide? Sounds to me, since you were glad to escort KA and MW around and not the ND10 guys, that you were trying to keep the members from hearing both sides. I dont call that being there for the members. But I could be wrong.
