LD3,

P REZ says:

Just thought I'd share some thoughts on the election coming up. Us "westies" have been told in the past that it doesn't matter how we vote, because CLT and PHL rule. Well that didn't hold true with the TA. We joined together and our voice was heard. I believe that will happen with the district election also. CLT and PHL are old, bitter, employees and will buck the system any time they can.

When you put the time in you could call them old, when you give up what they have given up you can call them bitter....

The red highlight is what you think I said but in fact was me quoting oncearound.

BTW, I have 21 years, finally got my first raise since 2000 and am bitter towards Dougie and his crew for the screw job he's giving all employees.

Respectfully,

P. REZ

P REZ, my apologies.....
P. REZ

Ignore LD3 he is a manager. Managers often confuse what they think with what was really said!
Huh?????

Yo prop, I am too "funny" aren't I? Just don't cross me on the wrong day. LOL. Glad to see you hitting the boards again.

Now I don't understand what this comment was for but really this is like the 100th post saying the same s@&t. Give it a rest and come up with something original or constuctive or just don't say anything at all. You all on the east seem to be more worried about the westies jobs than we do. Or is it your worried about our jobs too and just want us to feel quilty for it. Who's dumber the new guys who voted for the TA and might lose their job to only find something better or the senior legacy guy who has stuck around only to keep getting screwed and just keeps complaining about it? Either way its guys like you who will always keep us divided.
Lav boy, got well over 20+ year's. I and WE at us east wan't to be one with you, you just need to know we are your older brother, and sometimes sound like we are being parents. This is not our first rodeo!(Vern Gosden). Now I am really giving my age away. When the dust settles and all is done, let's wish we will be strong as one!!!!!!!

Is nice to someone is ooking out for us westies, but you have to realize a lot of us are new to this union stuff. We know we were robbed on this contract but we were also led to believe this was the best we were gonna get. Sure we could have voted it down and many of us would have if we could trust RC to put us under your contract. That would have really been bad since more stations could have been out soured, Randy would not have done that to us knowing there was an election coming up.
Anyways Im kinda tired form this double today and forgot where I was going with this. We do need to be educated though and its wasn't gonna happen by reading nameless propaganda from the aircraft bins. Far as we knew it was from some bitter old east guy (no offense but I would be bitter after all you been through). IMO I think if some of you would have taken a day to come down here and explained your why this TA was bad it would of had more merit than bin propaganda.

Thanks for the last few replys, they were a little more encouraging not reading how Im still gonna lose my job.

Peace Out

''lavboy'' its' not that were concerned only about your jobs its' the
fact were all in this together. Your future will be based on how we
as a group vote and unfortunately we can't seem to get that point
across. This past vote was wrong in the way it was carried out. If
PHX was allowed to vote on property, everyone should have been
afforded that oppourtunity. In the fact that this didn't happen should
have been addressed or halted.

Flip the coin and ask if PHL and CLT had been allowed to vote on site
and PHX had to drive to thier lodge to vote would they have a gripe...
absolutely. Its' a shame that we speak via this forum and do not have
the chance to talk face to face, you would see my concerns mirror yours
but the road I've been down is the road I travel still and I can't find
enough people in the car (the majority) to stop and ask directions.
We know were not headed in the right direction. We tried to let yo know
but I guess it comes off as bully'in.

Thanks

Well said Goodfellow. I was a big no pusher but that is over. Am I bitter about the vote? No. Do I like the way it was conducted. Again no. What is done is done. We now have a vote coming up that is just as important if not more. We are all in this together now and we as a group need to take control of our own futures. I think the first stations voting is coming up Tuesday. Take the time to go out and vote. Don't leave it up to others to decide what path we go down.

With the upcoming elections, I can tell you that local 2444 is a solid for ND08. Canoli and his cronies are all but gone!

NA NA NA NA.......NA NA NA NA.......HEY HEY.......GOODBYE!

Oman,

I'm back and at the top o the page :bleh: :bleh: :bleh:

Was on vacation

UAL and US Airways have suspended merger plans as UAL's United Airlines is near an alliance agreement with Continental Airlines Inc , according to a Wall Street Journal online story.

just to clear up some air about where we voted in Phx. That room is a former ba conference room. Anyone on the airport can use of if they ask. Tsa uses it all the time. Even some city clubs come and use it. Although unfair for the rest of you, most airports do not have such a space to loan out. Phx does. Its not a grand conspiracy, it was simply a free, "non airline", property space that was real close. In most airports our size, they would never lend out a room that size without charging so unfortunatly u guys outside Phx were never afforded that convenience. My post is not intended to start a new argument but I thought everyone should know the facts. I heard some claim that we voted in a break room and that simply is not true.

Sorry to say but it was a conspiracy and a grand one at that. We should have voted at local like everyone else. They knew PHX was a yes vote and made it way to easy for us to do so. Things would have been a lot different if we got to vote at a local, are numbers would have been much lower in PHX. I was a yes voter and I can even see through that. Some people had to drive hours to vote, not fair at all. And to say the reasons they couldnt vote at the airport is also wrong, been to CLT, pretty big airport if you ask me. My only thing is that in an earlier post we said we were voting in the breakroom and the conference room before the vote took place. Why didnt the east call foul and try to do something about it? I dont winning or losing just as long as everyone is on a level playing field.

In the wake of the collapsed talks, one of the sources said there is a feeling at US Airways that they were strung along by United during the process.

OK Doug and clan.......You have been rejected twice now.......When are you going to learn that YOUR employees and

not any other from another company is going to get you through this. It's time to come down to earth and realize that the " Holders of the Future " are right

here in your own backyard. You just have to open your Ears, Eyes and Mind......Period
