Just read the latest from Canale on signing the TA he tells us of a new implementation committee! He states we might have Questions!

Questions? Why would anyone of us have any Questions! I mean the AGC's did such a fine job explaining this TA to us right? Now they have a implementaion committee to go around and explain the TA to us after ratification!

Does anyone find this humourous that now they are going to explain it!

I think it's because that now everyone is asking the questions they should have asked before the vote. This thread alone is all questions.

I think it's because that now everyone is asking the questions they should have asked before the vote. This thread alone is all questions.

Hard to ask the committee questions! I never see them if they do show up its to catch a plane to go golf.

Oh yeah btw flying positive space I might add! 5 mins of work and then right off to the course!

Just thought I'd share some thoughts on the election coming up. Us "westies" have been told in the past that it doesn't matter how we vote, because CLT and PHL rule. Well that didn't hold true with the TA. We joined together and our voice was heard. I believe that will happen with the district election also. CLT and PHL are old, bitter, employees and will buck the system any time they can. They consistently screw themselves. They have a hand full of members who post defamatory information here every day. Should we, "westies" buy into this slander that is posted by these bitter old "east" guys? I think not. We have one man we trust, Ron Roth, from PHX. Ron has worked with the district guys for two years now. Ron has the insight we don't, to know who has our best interest in mind. He has joined the ticket of current district officers. I trust Ron to lead us in the right direction. Together they have negotiated a contract in this crappy economic state that has put more money in our pocket. Keep in mind while they did this, other airlines are filing bankruptcy, going out of business, and asking for pay concessions. I say we keep the guys who have brought us this far. I say we listen to Ron, follow his lead, and show those crusty guys in CLT and PHL who really rules our airline!

Don't you locally vote for your local committee? sounds like a local problem to me. Has nothing to do with the district level.
The district is doing their job by getting out a committee to answer questions that weren't asked previously. Now you want to boycott that.

it didnt hold true this time because all the westies want was that 3 buck raise, which will be thrown out the door when the west cities start closing and very soon. They refused to listen to the EAST folks who have been thru this plus 2 ch11 before. no pity from me to the west folks who voted yes to the ta when the crap starts happening. they are not bitter as you seem to think they tried to warn you you didnt listen the closing of cities is coming and coming fast The time for a new direction is upon us time to get rid of the canale era and get a whole new era of leadership who will listen to their members

You've made some really good points. The west will be much better represented with the district slate. The district understands the union is different airlines, work groups, work rules, and cultures. They have the voices from all represented. The new direction is only represented from east ramp for agcs. Ron is so knowledgeable he'll move up to agc in 2 years.
