Hey Roa,

your catchy slogan..."VOTE NO for this MO FO"....

could still be utilized in June for the elections....can it not??????

To my Union brothers in CLT,
A few questions...
How soon would WEST employees be able to tranfer to EAST stations?
Does anyone know if there are any FT openings on the ramp?
Who do get in contact with as far as putting in for a transfer?

I'm being serious by the way.

giantsfan,,I have to give you some props while we had a few moments and disagree on things(still do for that matter) you were always honest about your reasons and never given to wild speculation on what may happen as some did and I respect that Hopefully we can all agree on getting rid of this poison leadership we have in June good luck

As soon as the seniority integration list is produced by the company and agreed to by the Union You will be able to fill out a PE-66. There were F/T openings in CLT before the United merger announcement. Now most lines that were open are no longer going to be filled. Overtime will be slashed. I doubt you will be able to find an opening except maybe PHL. Even they have been maxed out as of recent.
A PE-66 system transfer form can be submitted to your admin. office.

Big management meeting yesterday revealed the reigns were tightened by corporate bigtime!

Time to take what we have and move forward to unify our group and prepare for the next mountain the company will throw at us! I am very happy with the network we have set up in the past couple of years. I have spoken my say for our group never wavering from my belief that a yes vote was the wrong thing to do. However I like many of the network people will continue to support our group in anyway we have to. We must prepare for the next battle that is the soon to be merger. I can only hope that we as a group get treated fairly during the process. I also think that we must continue to support a network of communication. This is the only real way we can keep our people across the system updated and informed of all workings of our company and our union. I would like to also say that we need to keep ourselves informed by becoming more involved in the day to day operations of the union. The real shame of this whole thing is not how the vote came out but the poor numbers across the system. If you don't vote you have no real right to bi**h. Good luck to everyone and start preparing for the next battle now!!!!!!!!!!!

The thing we can not possibly afford is to have Parker play the US AIRWAYS workers against the United workers like he did on US AIRWAYS property.
To continue building solidarity there must be space given to difference of opinon. It's called respect.
I don't think this is a hard thing to do, it's an easy thing to do if we can forget about our egos and realize there is nothing to gain by fretting over the past.

I agree totally Tim. I am much surprized the vote went the way it did, but considering the hunger that went on in the west, well, there you have it.

My hope is that we vote the IAM leadership out in June or we shall repeat this 2-3yrs from now.

Ua contract is up in 2009. Ours in 2011. Everyone should at least save a little $$ if you can because you might need it. This company will pit you against the

UA contract on amendment and we will all have, again, difficult choices to make. Remember, if they can't come to an amendment, we are all in the same

union and we must honor their decision.

Stay Strong
Stay Solid
Stay Informed

to all those YES voters int he west, just wait til the company starts inflicting pain on you it will hurt but cant complain since you all voted yea on it. I salute all the NO voters The pain will start and it will start quickly and I wouldnt be at all one bit surprised if the company starts :closing" cities in months rather than wait til 2011

All I've got to say is that when the stations on the outsource list that voted yes (I think MKE was one) get outsourced and ask why, be prepared for a lot of derogatory comments.

Otherwise there really isn't anything to say. We voted. The results will be the results, and were blessed or stuck with the results.
