The west was allowed to vote in their breakrooms...ahem...philly had go off site.
Freedom, there are no words that I can possibly state to you in regards to SOLIDARITY.
Come to Philly for a real PIG ROAST.

PR

I apologize for my W co-workers votes.
I do believe that is how we got all those Yes, votes. Those yes voters are not the ones that would ever even go out of their way, or know where their local is. Never underestimate the lure of a buck or two. I do not think they did their math to see that losing the Geo Diff and adding a buck or two, do not add up to much of a raise !
Ok, lets get the word out for June.

Phx had a big group of new-hires in green vests that were allowed to vote. From my understanding you had to be working on the ramp for 3 months before you are a member of the IAM union?

This June election is also about organizing.

The mergers will guarantee that DL141 has to have its sh*t together since thousands of members will be forced into representational disputes. Canale's organizing department can't organize squat. PK is a disaster, I have no idea how she got her job as District Organizer. The INTL guys in charge of organizing are awful also. NW members are screwed, and the United PCE may even lose their union altogether.

most of the class 2 stations voted for that 2005 contract that eliminated them. CLT voted No. So it is incorrect to say the class 1 stations voted in the 2005 contract. It's just not true, the class 2's voted overwhemingly Yes.

Also, Roa, Dirt, Oman, we need to come up with a date for a pig pickn, might even have to pay some because I think it could be a big party. I'll check with the mods if you think we should make this an official US AVIATION party.

Also, pm me if anyone needs to find out how to get a copy of the seniority list.

Tim I am not going to argue with your statements, but the Class II cities voted a big NO. The Class I cites, no matter how the Class II cities voted, carried the Yes Vote. In my Class II station, we had 2 or 3 yes votes from new hires, that was it. BDL was added to the class I list at the last minute to ensure the yes vote. No matter if CLT voted No, they had plenty of yes Votes to make sure the contract was voted in. They Class I cities SOLD out their Union Brothers/Sister for over $2.00 more an hour and did not care about anyone else but themselves.

You want proof that Vegas is on the chopping block, just fly out of there on a Friday night. I did last night and the place wasa GHOST town.

Also, a friend of mine in upper management informs me that they are getting rid of 100 fleet and 100 customer service very soon in LAS.

PHX, I fear our time is nearing as well... Why would they keep us when we are "marginally profitable" and keep LAX and SFO which are major international hubs?!

This merger will be about consolidation, if you are having any doubts about that, go read the DL/NW merger page explaining why their merger was better than the recent DL/US merger.... Doug Parker's business model is about cutting off hands, while THEIRS is about keeping what they already have and THEN some! They DID just get a 3% raise... When was YOUR last raise?

I smell a rat.

Hey....and the news just keeps getting worse. The latest is that Parker is having all the plus 35 year united ramp workers cloned....and since they'll technically have more seniority than the majority of US Air workers....looks like we will all be out of a job....and there is also a good chance that the yes voters caused a rift in the space/time continuum.....dammit, what next!

Good God I'm glad I left this place. No one will ever be happy, will they?

Yes, check your constitution for appeals process. Looks like someone on this thread was speechless....makes you wonder.

Remember...fasten your seatbelts....this is going to be the ride of your life.
