What's the minimum number of mainline flights required into IAH? I ask because I know that the last CBA had some cities like SNA at a higher number versus other cities like LAS, and I thought that the East cities kept some number from their bankrupt contract which was even higher.
My concern is that the minimum is based upon an annualized average of mainline flights per week, and if it close to 90 as the minimum into IAH, then the Compay will simply swap out some mainline flying in favor of Express flying to keep it under the minimum.
However, you do raise a valid point... who notifies whom as to when a minimum has been reached, and is there an announcement notifying FSAs as to the opening of a station? Furthermore, who is watching to prevent the Company from violating the CBA under these type situations?
So Ponders Jester.
