Why do keep posting scare tactics. Do you and the IAM think you will lose the vote. so you post this, or are your IAM members to lazy to vote to get the 50%+1 and think that there will be no union repesentation. because every one I have talked to has told me they would vote. Some even said for the IAM That should make you happy. You should read the IBT contract cause it says that we won't out source any maintenance that is being done in house now. So no layoffs in the East. I dont see how you dont see going with the IBT is a WIN WIN WIN for all of us.

And plaese don't use scope in your reply.

OK you are right we don't do S & Q checks as you do in the east. DEAD subject. IBT SCOPE will not let any mtc that is being done in house now to be out sourced. So your work there stays. That is a good thing, RGIHT?

The work is not being performed under the IBT contract, watch it walkout the door and a 1,000 mechanics laid-off and gee since US is vastly senior to the HP AMTs guess you will be on the streets and not the US mechs.

And the scope is the same except for the 757, 767, 330 and 50% of the 737s, it has all ready been tested and won.

Where is your scope language for the past ten years?

We have had the scope language since 1949, and it took the bankruptcy judge to modify it as the IAM was not going to give it up.

Lets see, IAM contract claims superior scope to protect jobs, hmmmm How many thousand do you have on your furlough list. IBT scope no work done now can be outsourced, IBT furluogh list has a number of 2. Oh yes you won that arguement - NOT!!!!

You have no gaurantee what US would keep if the IBT becomes certified.

And like I said our scope language is still superior through all the bankruptcies, but I guess you wont let the facts stand in your way of your continual rants.

We gain Scope, Heavy mtc and gaurantees, and we keep our seniority, also our pay will surpase yours as we have gauranted raises over the life of the contract and your no raises in yours till you ever get a new one.

And finally maybe you will realize, the IAM will become certified and the IBT contract will go bye bye and your negotiations will be all for naught as any gains you make will be thrown in the trash by US Labor Relations.

I dont see how you passed the third grade? I'm toped out at $23.35 + $2.00 for lic. + .35 shift pay = $25.70 OH I work in the hanger just so numbers are the same. Just a wrench. IAM top out $22.77 + $1.00 for lic. + .00 shift pay =23.77 with your whooping 1% 2006,1% 2007, 2%2008, 2% 2009 That is $24.00/06 and $24.25/07 and $24.73/08 and $25.22/09 That is good math in 4 years you will still be .55 cents behind what I'm making NOW

That is $3536.00 less in 06, $3016.00i n 07, $2018.00 in 08, and $999.00 in 09 ==TOTAL OF $9569.00

ITEM#7 279 Minimum A/C " The scope and job security of the Jan 2003 Agrrment requiring the company to maintain a minimum fleet size of 279 total mainline aircraft will be ELIMINATED."

The CSRs will have their own contract and they are not part of the same class and craft as the mechanic and related employees, their being IBT has nothing to do with maintenance.

Are you all that dense? All A320 family heavy mtc is performed in-house and 50% of 737 heavy and by the way your IBT contract will mean nothing when the IAM is declared the representative under single carrier status, you are just wasting your members' dues money on negotiations.

So keep trying and don't let the facts get in the way of your rants.
