? is this a result of SHARES ?

a paper tkt try adding tkt again to res still no luck finally say screw it and just let pax on board

I found out there is a key on the second rez pad that actually "changes" the ticket number, not just add/delete it. I did this the other day and finally got a paper tkt to show as ticketed. Cant remember the F key number right now, but check out the second rez pad and look for something to "Change" ticket info.

I've got a great idea. Let's switch everything back over to SABRE! That way all of the west agents can see what its like to use a REAL system! Better yet - lets do it within the next month and send all of the west agents through training and see what happens!

That will definately solve all of our problems with ticketing, kiosks, gate agent problems, and passenger complaints! I'd imagine that it'll go off without a hitch and the problems that existed migrating from Sabre to SHARES will be minimal.

Is that training going to be the 1, 2 or 3 day course that many East agents received to learn an entirely new system?

At least you recognize that there ARE problems with ticketing, kiosks, gate agent problems, and passenger complaints! Note sarcasm back at you!

It won't be a problem, the west agents are much younger and can adapt to that change pretty quickly!!! not like East, afraid and resistant to any sort of change.

DesertFA66, here is a personal invite to come work the counter with me for a day. Just give me the date you want to come and you can show me all the cool things this system can do for us. I'll be waiting for the PM. (I'm off Su/Mo unless I get mandatoried). PS- I've been working the HP flights for over a year so I'm not a "newbie" on the system or resistant to change. I actually volunteered to work the HP flights. System doesnt work like it should. Cant wait to have some help. :up:
 
I am so sick of your superior attitude...why dont you come to phl and work in a real airport...I could run rings around you if I had the correct tools...and it is not that simple....CTRL G F3 type in popup...whoops tkt out of sync....fix that ..start all over again
We really need to give the East time to get up to speed. Please be patient with them. It's really hard to learn a new system on the job. If they'd just fix the unflown value key we'd be a lot faster--even on the West.

I actually dream of that every nite....and then I wake up and the nitemare (of QIK)begins again (no sarcasm ) the truth is it probably would'nt be a problem DUH because we had no computer or ticketing or kiosk problems til Dougie made the the half-a$$ed decision to change the system....and you would get real training by professional trainers from Sabre and a format guide to help you....not like we got....3 days of half-a$$ed training and a kick up the butt....you might actually get to see how a real res system works.....real availabilty to all cities all over the world...no more paper tkts or fims....an easy to read stanby list I could go on and on..but its time for my nap and to dream of what could have been 🙁
 
You guys whine like little girls... Seriously, get a grip. The same thing happened the first time when USAir switched from pacer to sabre.. Everyone whined bitched and moaned, then after about 6-9 months most caught on and loved it.

If you can't learn a fewnew key strokes with out throwing a tantrum like a 9 year old girl, you deserve all the pay cuts.
