Yes, three weeks from now for the last 3 months. That is a quote. Got a laugh. For any of the West pilots who attended the Meet & Greet with the west attorney's on June 5, did the attorneys have any insight as to when Judge Silver is expected to rule?
The final paperworks (an extra filing demanded by usapa) was filed mid March. So we are only 100 days into it. The judge is very busy and she is getting new clerks this summer. Hopefully we will get an answer before they leave or the new clerks will have to redo some of that work.
July 29 will be the two year anniversary of the company filing this law suit.
If usapa would accept the results of binding arbitration we could all move forward. If the judge continues to delay and we are stuck waiting for an AA merger to happen we are all losing out on a new contract.
At this point usapa is in a box. No contract, no negotiations and no chance of improving any of our lives. A few extra upgrades for east pilots does not seem to me to be in the best interests of all us airways pilots.
