Another thing...I have said nothing of my beliefs. The only thing I have said is that you have "hatred of all who disagree with you." You may be surprised to find out that I agree with some of your views. I do not agree with your rabid personal attacks on those that do not have the same outlook as you.

I am glad to have your son as one of my representatives serving our country. I am also glad that you are proud of him, as you should be.

And I still maintain that if there was a draft (and if we invade Iran, there will be, IMHO), then you will see a lot more patriotic conservatives start to speak out loudly against the war when it's THEIR kid being sent to the front lines.

Aside from the fact that your tantrum had nothing to do with the comment I made about McCain, the reason I referred to his comments is that he does have experience with combat and I do not. He unlike you can have a rational discussion with out having to resort to insults and childish behavior so I trust his judgment far more than yours. By the way, Colin Powell is also against torture. He stated publicly that he was against the 'clarification of the portion of the Geneva Convention dealing with torture. Powell speaks out Do you know better than them? Are you really that arrogant? Or maybe, just maybe you have a different point of view. Last I checked, grown adults with different life experiences have that.

Well, I think, in the short term, there is limited options, certainly, that we have. Long term, I think we may be in a period of relations with Russia where we have to make sure that we help our friends, that we do what we can to protect democracies and freedom, and make sure that we understand that there is a new era that obviously began when President Putin took over, and so we will adjust our relations accordingly.

And I don't think that there's going to be a re-ignition of the Cold War; don't get me wrong. I don't think there's going to be nuclear-weapons buildups, et cetera, but I think that Russian behavior is not acceptable. And we will do what we can to maintain our alliances and our friends and make the Russians understand that this kind of behavior is not a part of what we view as the 21st century.

There are those who suffer from what has been labeled " the God complex". They can not see things that blend into grey. They only see things as black or white. They have no objectivity, it is either thier way or the highway. "You are either with us or against us" sound familiar? IMHO they have personality disorders. Lets see the word that comes to mind is ethnocentric. They see the world from only thier cultural perspective. Others who have grown up with different beliefs are wrong no question. For them to even consider that their own beleifs are flawed in anyway is sacriledge. It would be to hard to even try to delve(sp) into thier own psyche and objectively ask the hard questions. Just my opinion. I love psychology. LOL
