I'm actually going to suggest that the Teamsters make a shirt with all their represented Airlines on the back like the one we did for the 2003 AMFA drive that's a great Idea.

No problem. I could use that to get some AMFA cards signed.

Be sure to include that the Mechanic and Related craft or class of the Teamsters is less than 30% of the Airline Division of 80,000, and all Airline Division Officers are Pilots, not AMT's.

And even much less percentage of influence when you place the M&R craft into the 1.4 million membership.
Don't worry though McCoy your issues will be addressed even though you will be a major minority in that organization.

Show a pie chart on the t-shirt and the thin little slice of influence you will have for your profession.

I would love to know your real name so I can come by & rub it in some when the Teamsters win the Election. 🙄 And they are going to win because whether you want to believe it or not the drive is real, Google Teamsters raiding Unions, you will find a wealth of information as to what the Teamsters are up to lately ( raiding Unions )

I think I've shared this story before.
A few years back I was visiting family in the West of Ireland. train engineers had split from their Union, SEPTU, and formed their own union. The upstart went on strike and their employer had hoped that SEPTU would sanction letting the company use SEPTU members to scab, they refused. Sadly in this country unions are very quick to turn on each other. The ideology of the leaders seldom run deeper than a few slogans from the past, often they dont even know what the slogans mean. They encourage sacrifice to the employer and look at other unions as the enemy instead of the company thats stealing the benefits wages and dreams of their members. When union leaders encourage their members to give up wages and benefits in the hopes that it will make the host employer grow and increase dues flow, which are used to maintain a living standard for union leaders thats far far above that of those they represent then they are no longer unionists, they are pimps.

Wow Dan! You really missed the point here. the head of the teamster's airline division which you seem to want to belong to because "it's easy" is an airline pilot who was APPOINTED! So when you get tired of getting misrepresented by the teamsters like we are with the twu you will have to "work hard" to remove the teamsters.

Just forget the teamster's empty promises and put your energy towards the AMFA drive. It's like you said previously AMFA is the better union.
