😱ff:
Your post has nothing to do with the topic. And when and where I post or others is not a concern of yours.
Go back and try to pick a fight somewhere else.
If you get other execs (like those featured) to book - especially - business class, last minute fares - I'd be willing to bet the revenue beats an e-fare anyday. How much value is gained from commercials when flights are already full?
Perhaps because we weren't as awestruck as you were, which is apparently something that's easy accomplished in your case.I find it interesting that US Airways forum "naysayers" (who I believe are disguntled employees and customers), people like 700UW, ClueByFour, BoeingBoy, Pilot, etc did not post a comment in this topic. How can that be?
Moreover, where is United employee 767jetz?

It's AWA style (new commercials) but definatley moving AWAy from HP. The get onboard commercials simply had the guest advertiser talking about HP while standing next to an airplane. Now each one has an aircraft in motion on some way and they all end with one flying. The new music isn't bad, but the "old" (i.e. recent) US Airways music was pretty good too. It would be nice if they continued to use that in certain situations, but it's likely that they won't since everything from the old US seems to be going "buh-bye."
I believe the ads are creative and it is nice to see the company spending money on marketing the product. During leaner times both companies had to cut back on expenses and advertising was reduced, thus, the new ads are a sign of improving times.

I think the ColdStone guy is the only one left over from the Get OnBoard campaign.
I've heard the ColdStone "guy" use to be a former America West F/A who started the ColdStone business. I think he still has a close relationship with some in the company.
Flew Southwest recently and their boarding absolutely SUCKS! How can a company with such a great business plan suck so badly at getting people seated in a timely and organized manner. Everyone who gets on first plants themselves in the first set of rows, effectively holding up the entire line of people waiting to board. It's insanely ineffective. The old AWA mosh pit commercial immediately came to mind.

It's not much worse than boarding a full airplane at USAirways.
I have flown WN from LAX-LAS-LAX and had no problems with how they board, it was quite efficient.
