Speaking of the PBGC. Still no update from the committee about the 35 page report. where is that? Where is that smoking gun document the committee promised? The one they threatened Parker with at the crew news?

How about a little quote from the the court filings.

There was no good news coming out of the Parker crew news. No good news that is, for the westerners. Had there been any, they would be crowing and misquoting.(Move2Clt being furloughed, and an idiot, does not count) There is none. I hear he told them there is NO appeal. Explains all the posturing by Ferguson at the recall attempt. All the special language the legal neophyte put in, to supposedly lay the harm claim they constantly crow about.
The harm was done to the western furloughees. They will not be recalled, and the east div. is hiring, and getting stronger. How does Ferguson explain to the adamant furloughed on this board Cleardirect, Nic4 us and Move2clt they will not be getting their Nicolau number. They will now get a number below many, many AA pilots if the merger happens. The furloughed AA pilots.
The torpedoes have hit, and the Nicolau is listing. Soon it will slip into the abyss, permanently. It won't be long.
 
The judge has a meeting scheduled with both parties on Nov 2 or 3rd, so we do not have the final word yet. Also, the Dept of Labor is investigating USAir, so that is ongoing. I think that is where the evidence of theft is located.

Since this is such an important, personal issue to you, I thought you would already know this stuff.

Scheduled for the 2-3rd. Is that how federal judges work? Come on in when you get a chance? There is nothing filed scheduling a hearing. What does the dept of labor have to do with a failed pension fund? Answer nothing. Besides usapa said the theft was with the PBGC and management. Now you shift the target still chasing smoke.

Simply pointing out the fact that you east guys are gullible and willing to chase any rabbit some lawyer tells you he can catch.

Also that usapa was supposed to be the open union telling the pilots all of the information. Where is the update from the pension committee? It sure does appear that they are hiding from this report. At the very least they should inform the pilots the PBGC report is available. Why the silent treatment from the union?
 
I think the really big question in all of this is why do you care? It wasn't your money, you were not assessed, and if anything did come of it, you wouldn't benefit as you NEVER had a pension. Does running your mouth help soften the blow from Judge Silver.

And speaking of Judge Silver, old S for B over there says Parker will appeal and seems happy about it. Would you and other west pilots be happy about an appeal?

Why do I care? Because it shows the continuing failure of usapa and the rabid obsession with chasing rumor trying to prove fantasy invent by the east.

You did hear that the investment banker during the BPR meeting told the entire BPR that there was NO money to bring Us Airways out of bankruptcy right. There were no investors, there was no credit, nothing to save you guys except America West.

As far as Silvers ruling. I am quite happy with the ruling. she strongly warned the company and the east. If she had said it had to be the Nicolau usapa would have appealed and dragged this thing out longer and given Parker his excuse. Now he has no excuse. I am not happy if the company appeals. But that is Parker's problem. He will have to explain why he is delaying another 1-2 years for a decision he can make today.

I would prefer that usapa get to getting. Offer your proposal and force Parker to make a decison. If he accepts it we file the DFR. He he rejects it we have a direction and can get to a contract. What are you guys waiting for? Make a move. You said it is over did you not? Why have you not presented your proposal?

Not that big a deal. It's just a number on an A/S gauge. Plenty of "high rollers" have done it while sipping Scotch in the back of a Concord.

Setting the "unofficial" altitude record in an F-14 (65,000') now that is an experience worthy of a few cold ones, that I would be glad to brief you on sometime. One of those young, dumb and spontaneous things that people do and actually somehow manage to survive.

Who gives a damn what you think of it. It was worth pursuing. And close to 45k a year every year is the worst case scenario. Yours? You didn't even have a DC till the East helped you get one. Then you returned the favor with parity. That is some, INTEGRITY.

The real stupidity was you listening to Ferguson on the furlough. All the promises of harm and retribution. They have made you a bitter young pill. On the street with nothing but a chat room. And a CEO who is merger happy for a company with thousands of furloughed also. Pathetic.

How is this for something different?

On tues, the CEO is doing a crewnews in PHX, I am guessing he will inform the West that the company is likely to accept usapa's seniority proposal in light of the DJ. That the West problem is with usapa and we will have to take it up them, and sue usapa once a ratified contract is in place, or take the alternative route of conceding to the scabs demands. An olive branch will be offered in the form of allowing some sort of West representation crafting C&Rs.

The West declines, strings the company along on our second worst pay, and totally disrupts the airline on the Thanksgiving holiday. When the CEO complains, we tell him he has to take it up with usapa and it is his turn to sue the union.


Now, that was a really stupid thing to say.........
